Whats the "scam" part? what does Caddx get out if by giving out a free part?

It's just a title to get one's attention. And it says "Scam or not". You seem to omit the rest of it.😁 Anyway, Caddx gave it for free to help their customers actually, but some are still in doubt, especially that they paid already for their goggles (and some wanted to have their money back). So I did the test and shared the results thru this video

This is a product that was rushed to market for no reason. I’m not convinced that heat sink will be a fix.

Well, I have seen a couple of posts already on the WS FB official group where owners of goggles used the heatsink and it dropped the temps significantly

Just bought mine 5/20/24 and it has the old heatsink

And does it overheat or not? Mine didn't come with shorter heatsink but didn't have any issues on overheating. Tested under 49C summer temperature here, didn't have any issues.
