Did everyone come from the JCS video? Goddamn I thought there'd be a few but every single comment I've looked through so far has been about it. I feel like I've met my people.
Subjectively, in my personal musical opinion, Mac DeMarco's _Salad Days_ isn't a sad or melancholy sounding song. The lyrics are borderline melancholy but really I'd say the song is more chill than sad. Panzermensch sounds downright jubilant in areas and it's lyrics are all about dancing at raves and whatnot. Whoa... that's some EEEEVIL stuff you got there, Nik! He'd have done better to make a playlist featuring a mix of Emo and Metal in order to come across as "sad and evil" to try and score that Schizophrenic diagnosis. It would have provided more contrast between "demon" song picks and Nik picks. I know very little about what's Emo and the only metal I listen to is Scandinavian (mainly Norwegian) Black Metal. But you know... maybe with My Chemical Romance or Panic at the Disco or Blood on the Dance Floor and some Mayhem or Darkthrone or Burzum or Slayer or GWAR or Black Sabbath he could have sold the "two sides of me" thing better. I've heard Huey Lewis and the News songs that were less upbeat than Salad Days and Panzermensch. Frankly I prefer Panzerlied when it cones to German songs about tanks. Not a supporter if the ideology behind it, but a lot of the Nazi German war songs slapped. Ditto Soviet songs and Anthems. Auferstanden Aus Ruinen, the National Anthem of the DDR (Deutsche Demokratische Republik/German Democratic Republic AKA "East Germany") is on par with or better than Deutschlandlied... especially with Deutschlandlied in its modern, neutered, shaved down state. It should not be a frickin' hate crime to say "Deutschland Über Alles!" (Germany Above All). The Nazis sang it, yes, but it predates them and the official anthem of Nazi Germany was the Horst Wessel Lied (Horst Wessel Song) and not Deutschlandlied.
Amazing song! And One is so talented, diverse and influential. I sang this song for karaoke and saw a couple make the Nazi salute. Everyone else seemed to enjoy it though and it's a shame some people don't recognize that music is subjective and thus should never be held at face value. As well, electronic music was first created in Germany in 1953.
What in the world is all this talk of demons about? I was introduced to this song by a montage of someone playing World of Warships, blowing shit up in a planed-but-never-built German super-dreadnaught. (Yuro Kruppstahl, Großdeutschland 2)
Yeah I watched that video. Man I love that ship just hate the guns on it sometimes. Also the dumb shit about the demon is that you know that waste of space of a kid who shot up Parkland ? Nikolas Cruz was bsing the cops by saying he was insane and that the demons were telling him to do it and they liked this particular music even though he doesn't even understand German. Now people just keep saying the same stuff over and over again. I know this band since 2009 or well listen to them and watched some songs used in compilations on war thunder, world of tanks, warships and company of heroes but people remember this song as the "demons song" i got sick of replying to em so i just let them fly.
And my suspicions that the comments would be full of memes and references to the Florida shooter are confirmed, unfortunate that so many people were introduced to this song through such circumstances
@@Alexfilms_03 Yeah well you should see half the comments legit being flooded with "evil song" and then some telling me to off myself cause I translated it ? It feels like Pumped Up Kicks all over again: the comments are all about a school shooting. 💀
no, people were talking about pumped up kicks being correlated with school shootings because the song is about a school shooting.
If it makes you feel better
We’re going on about how a great youtubers video where he goes into depth about criminal psychology
He makes great stuff so we’re really shouting him out
Peter Rabbit 2 brought me here. Nah... it was the demon.
This is the 5000th video that i have liked, congrats!
Did everyone come from the JCS video? Goddamn I thought there'd be a few but every single comment I've looked through so far has been about it. I feel like I've met my people.
it's not about liking the same music as that freak. it's that people were killed without mercy while this song played. i just picture it.
Truly one of the golden experiences. It awakens this tendency of battle in me truly kiss worthy song
very sekai ichi
B-B-BAKA MONOGA
Baaaaaakaaaa mooonooogaaaaaaaa
The Nazis sang it, yes, but it predates them and the official anthem of Nazi Germany was the Horst Wessel Lied (Horst Wessel Song) and not Deutschlandlied.
this 👏👏👏
damn demons always have the best choice in music, this song is awesome
Amazing song! And One is so talented, diverse and influential. I sang this song for karaoke and saw a couple make the Nazi salute. Everyone else seemed to enjoy it though and it's a shame some people don't recognize that music is subjective and thus should never be held at face value. As well, electronic music was first created in Germany in 1953.
“Live up these rhymes go straight ahead and let it out” guess the demon does choose evil songs
Yep and the lines about dancing and celebrating freedom are so terrifying, I mess shiver me timber’s🥶 I can see why the “demon” would pick it.
@@bucketonfoot tf are you talking about?
@@JZilla69 their sarcasm but machine and armor man is what they fail to realize is the part I was talking about dude was strapped and had a vest
@@connermiles7425 i really just want to find actual discussions online about this song but it’s all tied back to the kids fake voice in his head.
@@BlankPapperthe guy was a school shooter in Florida, told the cops he had demons in his head. And he said they recommended him this song
Bro i fucking love this song thank you for making this 💙
I'd like to invite the demon over sometime. He must be epic at parties.
Oh my god this song is so damn cool- I feel so tough listening to this
I love how they say "sample text" at 2:40
And my suspicions that the comments would be full of memes and references to the Florida shooter are confirmed, unfortunate that so many people were introduced to this song through such circumstances
It’s cool as hell to play as Bastion in Overwatch while listening to this song
Rudol von Stroheim FTW
bloody stream bros for FTW
This is better then propaganda
I'd like to see Nik's imaginary friend the demon's playlist.
I love how half of the people came from that crime video, but damn that demon had some good music taste ngl
That's what I was thinking. I've been a fan of German music especially industrial. Just cause of 1 fucknut now the song is apparently "Evil"
@@connermiles7425 the song isn't evil, one son of a bitch is. I like the song, it's just hard to shake the connection you know?
@@Alexfilms_03 Yeah well you should see half the comments legit being flooded with "evil song" and then some telling me to off myself cause I translated it ? Like I translated it back in 2017 but apparently some try to connect it with the events in 2018 ?
I reply to most saying its not an Evil song its just music like would "I'm a barbie girl" be evil if he was listening to it whilst doing what he did. No but some people don't get that.
damn "demon", ya got some good music taste-
This is a great song and the lyrics aren’t violent at all. Shame that it’s now permanently associated with that one evil scumbag.
Damn the demon listens to good dance music
This song sooo good
