One of the things I really appreciate is we got the full Mr. Boss experience this episode. The different looks, the different voices, it's basically every bit he's done rolled into one episode. Like that time Robin Williams was on SVU and he crammed 100% of his acting range into one character.
It was interesting how they didn't follow the trope you'd expect that Mr Boss was going to have some badass getaway plan (like how he became Rambo to stop the Frowning Friends). I feel like the show always takes a left turn when you think they're going to do a typical tv trope.
The scream she gave was surely because they were leaving without pay (also, her home was glitching into the oblivion, so she maybe wanted to escape with them)...

@@CG-sf1uwhonest to God yeah I was thinking of how much of an eyesore that show was and how this wasn’t as hard to look like but just how similar they were
I think it’s in the designs. Problem Solvers had a lot of issues with the art direction and voice acting that made it come off as really annoying and unpleasant to look at even though it does look like the creators put a lot of effort into the show. Spamtopia works better because the art is so chaotic but is at the same time easy to understand and is so absurd that it becomes incredibly funny.
can i just say, i LOVE the design of spamtopia and all those little...creatures? critters? people? inside of it. theyre so colorful but still pleasing to look at, thats really amazing.

This is different, you cant tell what message, if anything, this is meant to convey, its such a mess of sound and visuals that feel more like a gross fever dream than anything cohesive
I swear, seeing the entirety of Spamtopia be destroyed in an incomprehensible manner was almost exactly how my fever dreams played out. Pim : AAAA!!

Easily one of my favourite episodes so far, love how every storybeat of the spam-topia plot came back around in the end, literally everything set up was paid off even in all the frantic chaos. Love the insane art styles of this show, they really incorporate every sort of creativity into the visuals.
How they pull this batshit stuff and squeeze it all into 12 minutes or less is kinda insane.
I don’t know why but the hat changing gag tickles me the right way

Spamtopia exploding into a singularity while they're being chased by the demon waitress is simultaneously hilarious and horrifying.
The entire concept of this world is genuinely terrifying. The fact that you cant reason with the entities living there.
As a guy who does content using old software it's surreal to see Adult Swim using the same voice synthesis that Microsoft Agent uses.
A lot of people use SAM
Spamtopia is actually one of my favorite Smiling Friends locations so far, it’s just so wacky and creative and it makes me wanna see much more of the locations out there in the Smiling Friends universe

Wow i'm surprised that someone still remembers that show.
@@CG-sf1uwhonest to God yeah I was thinking of how much of an eyesore that show was and how this wasn’t as hard to look like but just how similar they were
I don't think people appreciate how hard it is to pull off something like this entire concept. The creative finesse these two guys have is nuts.
I think it’s in the designs. Problem Solvers had a lot of issues with the art direction and voice acting that made it come off as really annoying and unpleasant to look at even though it does look like the creators put a lot of effort into the show. Spamtopia works better because the art is so chaotic but is at the same time easy to understand and is so absurd that it becomes incredibly funny.
first thing I thought of to when I saw it. it's a shame that show ended up so lame, the pilot is genuinely good
The sound design in this show is absolutely insane. When things go down, it really helps ramp up the tension, and this scene really shows that

Dude whenever I watch this show it manages to scare me in a new different way every now and then.

It's funny how they all go insane when he tells them that there were "No more rules", but before that they had only one rule, which was not looking anyone in the eye. So not much really changed, lol.
This whole segment somehow made Xavier: Renegade Angel seem normal by comparisson. I didn't even think that was possible.
Thats because even at its worst, you can tell theres a method to the madness of Xavier, many plots revolve around satirizing modern culture and new age beliefs and you can tell when the the trippy imagery is there to look funny.
All of the univers started to die and be destroyed in an instant, so much chaos, then it resets, and it gets destroyed again, over and over in seconds. Spamtopia is probably the most unnerving thing I've seen in a while
At least with my lack of social skills I would be able to survive the "no eye contact rule"
