Well, done! Thanks for filming and posting the Loon Mountain Express. It takes me back about 50 years to the first time I saw it on a family ski vacation in 1971. To a 6 year old back then, it was like seeing the Polar Express pull up at your house! I can never forget hearing that warning whistle echoing throughout the valley. Buses and vans are now the main mode of transporting skiers to and from parking lots, but there is nothing quite like going backward to the chairlifts to ski and forward to your car to drive home while feeling the engine chug, seeing the steam rise, and hearing that whistle blow!
Nice catch! I’ve been meaning to film up there, is there a cost to ride it or be on that part of the property, or do you have ask employees there? Thanks!

Very cool, Nice job!
Thanks.
Thats a deep whistle for that tiny little thing
Pretty sure it’s an old B&M whistle.
Someone rang the locomotives bell. Never heard anyone ring the bell before. Wonder why it’s never rung.
Pinchie08 I ring it every time I drive, to let stragglers know It’s time to get on board.

Just parked in the main lot and started filming. No problems. Thanks for watching!
