“Fall is one of my favorite time of the year.”
“It's time to hurry up and get ready for the cold months ahead of us.”
“Today, while out getting my winter supply of firewood, I found a couple of really nice tree limbs that I think will make good walking canes.”
“Working up here in the high country really revives my spirit. It's the most enjoyable part of my job.”
“Here's an interesting piece of wood that I found a while back that I plan to turn into a Copperhead walking cane”
“On a project like this, I try not to rush through it. I think I do my best work when I slow down and just enjoy every step of the process.”
I like the coloration of the Copperhead snake. It's pretty clear to me that its pattern was designed to blend in with old fallen leaves.”
“A clear coat on the eyes is the final touch to bring life to the carving.”

Amazing how a drop of clearcoat on the eyes can give a tangible lifelike quality to any piece. Even guys in workshops in Hollywood all the way down to hobby kids do that with their sculptures & clear coat nail varnish. They just look alive instantly. Im gonna have to get some off my sisters now. Your steadiness with that paintbrush Mike is exceptional. Brilliant work. Finishing a piece of work you feel happy with & proud of gives us a sense of satisfaction & a buzz that no drug or drink or substance can even come close to. So rewarding! That's what its all about.

    Hello mister Sinnett.
My name is Hafid and I m from Algeria, I really see your art comes from a profound love of what you do, and it's priceless, because you give art plus a part from your soul, much of respect for what you do.
This is from a side, from another side I see the wonders of the creator, as Allah says in the Coran, *God’s coloring. And who gives better coloring than God? “And we are devoted to Him.*
Keep going, and sharing with the beauty of your creativity.
