Just got my first ever electric guitar this Christmas and this was one of the first songs I wanted to learn! You explain so well in this video for a complete beginner like me thank you!!!
3:10 intro 5:05 verse 1 7:34 verse (3rd time through 8:20 same verse but includes all 3 13:15 chorus to c sharp minor 7 chord 16:05 C sharp minor 7 to end (slowed down version) 16:45 C sharp minor 7 to end played normal speed 15:51 chorus to end played slowly 16:35 entire chorus played normal speed
I'm keyboarder (pianist) and I could use your video for playing on the keys too, because you explain it very exatly for to find the right chords and single notes. It's a very GOOD lesson! THANK YOU!
Any thoughts on what the effect is on the guitar in the background of the intro? Some sort of filter trem w/ delay? I've experimented on my strymon timeline but just can't nail it. Nice tab btw. Handy, thanks! :)
Shawn that was amazing! I have a question though, the nneck of my guitar is way too short so I was wondering if there was a way to play those power chords with a capo or something like it. Thank you very much!
In my second comment I want to tell you something about the original when I listen to it: 1.) When you start the chorus, then you play the notes A D C# B. I think that the very first note is not an "A" but "F#". I mean that it should be three steps deeper (F# D C# B). 2.) I have a question about the second chord of the chorus. The first chord is "b-minor" (Bm) and you tell in the video that the second chord is "D-major7" (Dmaj7). When I listen to the original it sounds to me more like a "Dmajor" with the 5th half step down (D5b). Are you sure that it really should be a "Dmaj7" ? Best Greetings and THANK YOU for an answer.
Hello! All great questions. I just listened to it again, sometimes you hear more after you step away for while. So I feared I missed something. 1.) Its an A, both times. Its the open A string. F# would be another way to make the same effect and I think it would have been better to do it that way, but its an A. 2.) The C# on fret 2 of the B string in the guitar on the right speaker stands out to me. I can't say much for the wah guitar on the left side because the notes are very muddy and it would take me some time. But for the clean guitar, its a DMaj7 for sure.
there's something more... in the second part of each verse there's a guitar playing some notes that I can't quite get... if you listen to the live versions on youtube you'll listen to what I say... please video response :-)
I know exactly the notes you are talking about. I listened to a live version. The notes are 5th fret high E, 4th fret high E, 5th B, 2nd B... 5th E, 4th E, 5th B, 2nd E... 5th E, 4th E, 5th B. Hope that helps!

Hey , how long did it take you to learn it
Yes! More Lana Del Rey from Ultraviolence! Thanks. Could you do Florida Kilos, or the intro to it at least, please?
3:10 intro
5:05 verse 1
7:34 verse (3rd time through
8:20 same verse but includes all 3
13:15 chorus to c sharp minor 7 chord
16:05 C sharp minor 7 to end (slowed down version)
16:45 C sharp minor 7 to end played normal speed
15:51 chorus to end played slowly
16:35 entire chorus played normal speed
thank you!!
omg, the intro sounds like "and I love her" in the homemade record version of Kurt Cobain
Lana is a fan of nirvana. This might be where she got it from or her guitar player
Kurt's only a cover, not the original.
If anyone’s wondering And I Love Her is a Beatles song.
@@DarkAnubis yup
The first time I heard the song, I immediately thought of The Beatles
