I wouldn’t weigh an entire’s class spec’s worth on one gameplay mechanic. I get it. A root would be amazing but not pivotal.

I pref Way of earth or shamanistic rage + overcharged tbh, but ur use of riptide is interesting. For me overcharged + imp light shield talent makes it so this + shocks can kill melee alone before they burst u down.
Its a balance of burst vs sustain. Rolling thunder rune I find is just not worth, cus u loose more stacks than what u gain at all times pvp.
Also have tried the new Burn rune with +200spell dmg.. its very strong.
Would be nice to be way of the earth all time or earth shield as resto but mana problem is insane midfight

u need every trick in the book... grenades, sprint trinket, ... this is what i dont like about shaman in world pvp. But if u manage to hit, u hit bigtime.
How? If against melee you can use a LIP and free cast. Riptide for healing is huge too.
@@TheBj57 i feel like you dont necessarily need it, but i tend to use it when i’m at a disadvantage, or to just ensure that i win the fight as efficiently as possible
are you on crack????? shamans are the stongest pvp class in sod P3, by far
pro tip : play earth shield with heal hybrid spec and you will have a way smoother time than playing dmg reduction. the healing that earth shield gives is way better and conserves a ton of mana. seeing that youre not wasting your mana on trying to cast lightning spells anyways, this would make your overall spec better as you do not loose any casting time on heals with a 23 0 18 spec.

@@TythonWOW you can buy it from the AH for silly money. It has the same proc as the sword paladins and warriors have from STV where you walk around silly for 3 seconds. Procs from spells too.

Can you switch gear in combat?
No, but itemrack will let you choose an item to “queue” up so the instant you leave combat it was swap gear
i keep searching through those pvp clips and no1 ever posts killing a SL lock 1v1, so sad
Because its way too strong, always been even before sod
I actually havent encountered one yet, if i do ill definitely drop some clips attempting to kill them😅

Dude they nerfed pvp so hard - ele is just not playable anymore for pvp bc of this - as ele sham we have to hard cast all major dmg spells so you are cast for 5 seconds completely volnerable and get out 500-700 dmg on LB crit + 200-300 CL on best case post nerf then you have no cds left and just walking target its terrible...
Luckily it was just a weekend test

The earth bind is strange but usually you really want to keep casting flame shock so power surge can proc
