I’m on my 2nd journey with reoccurring CC Mets (3c2) and I’m looking forward to being 41 in a few weeks . Celebrate each day, even if it’s just looking out the window and smiling at the sunshine or rain xx
Thank you for exploring this topic. I remember when in my late 20’s I had an abnormal pap (1980 ish). Very scary then , but now looking back not a big deal 🤩
I truly appreciate all the information you put out! I had my ovaries removed due to endometriosis. Went on the combipatch but even after adjusting the dosage, I still had bleeding every 2 weeks and brain fog. Bloodwork was fine & had a painful endometrial biopsy recently. Researching my hrt options, but it's overwhelming!
Claire, This is precisely the kind of thing for which I do one-on-one consultations. You definitely need one. I can help you a lot in a consultation. But, I cannot tailor things specifically to you in a comment box. It requires much more information than you can give me here, and you deserve much more information than I can give you here. No two women are alike, and addressing your situation requires tailoring all the facts specifically to YOU. I do them all via video conferencing. You can schedule at MenopauseTaylor.ME. I look forward to meeting you and helping you.
Hello Barbie! I opened your book, last night, to read the chapter on Cervical Cancer to be ready for class. Alas...like you said, no chapter on it. This is a great chapter to learn about. My sister said she had cervical cancer and had it frozen off? I wish I could ask her to be more specific (after learning this) but she died in 1997...not of that but of cancer on the adrenal gland. Looking forward to next weeks lesson.
Dr. Taylor at 8:07 you state the sole cause of endometrial uterine cancer is estrogen - it's that straightforward. Then, how can a diagnosis of non-estrogen dependent endometrial cancer be possible in a normal BMI menopausal woman? Thanks for responding, Dr. Taylor. Key information: non-estrogen dependent endometriod carcinoma vs. estrogen dependent. I watched your endometrial cancer videos and I've read chapter 31 in your 1st book. I cannot find any reference to non-estrogen driven endometriod cancer. Only estrogen dependent/unopposed estrogen cancer of the uterus is discussed. If I've overlooked something, please advise!
Your fat cells are not the only source of estrogen in this world. There's estrogen in some foods, and there's estrogen hormone replacement. Your comment indicates that you have not watched my videos in order, starting with the very first one. That's why you're confused. If you want a shortcut, schedule a consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME so that I can tailor everything specifically to YOU. Watching my videos out of order will only sabotage your menopause education. I do all consultations online.
Thank you Dr Taylor for such detailed explanations. Very informative indeed. My mom was diagnosed by a Papa Smear that she had some sort of malignant cells. I was only 7. I was always told it was uterus cancer. But, I’ve come to realize, it had to be a Cervical cancer since it was detected through a Papa Smear. She left it unchecked and it metastasized all over her abdomen area and some organs. Now, that being the case, I would like to add, correct me if I am wrong, that the form of spread could also be if you have a partner that he fooled around when he was younger or fools around while being with his partner. My dad was my mom’s first and last sexual partner. But I know for a fact that my dad prior to being with her, had sexual encounters with ladies of the night.
Olga, I'm so sorry about your mom. Assessing her situation is not something I can do with limited information. And what really matters is YOUR situation, not hers. This is precisely the kind of thing for which I do one-on-one consultations. You definitely need one. I cannot tailor things specifically to you in a comment box. Oh .. how i wish the video numbers were at the beginning of the title. It is very difficult to follow which is next. If watching on a phone, I (maybe others too) cannot even see what video number it is - to watch in order- without clicking on all the titles. It would make it sooo much easier!
I do too! But I had fight and fight just to get the numbers at all. These days, people just don't do anything in chronological order. So RUclips didn't even understand why I needed numbers. It was very frustrating.
Ready for class! My mom was getting monitored yearly for cervical cancer untol her late 70s! You should think of if as "young and loose." Not all women as sexy.. Makes you wonder how one organ can spawn two forms of cancer. Something when wrong with evolution. I'd rather be a endometrial/uterine survivor, at least it was easily cured. I still kick myself that I didn't ask for pictures of my offending organ...
What? They have absolutely nothing to do with one another. How have you connected them? If you want my help with this or anything else, schedule a consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME. I do them all online.
Are there any negatives to taking HRT? I’m starting to get joint pain and hope it’s not from the hormones. I read that lack of testosterone can lead to joint pain, but have heard that people going thru transition type hormone therapy have joint pain…..
There are both pros and cons to everything in life ... including HRT. But knowing how or if they apply to YOU requires tailoring, which I can only do in a consultation. You can schedule one at MenopauseTaylor.ME. I do them all online.
@Menopause Taylor, hello! :) I read high levels of vitamin D interfere by reducing Estrogen. What video can you point me to that covers this topic? Not sure this is even a Factual "thing" but interested in your education on this topic. Thank you in advance! Appreciate all you do for women! :)
My husband's late wife died at 32 years old of clear cell cervical carcinoma... took her in 8 months from discovery. What exactly is clear cell carcinoma of the cervix? Is it HPV?
From what I’m reading - the HPV vaccine is safe and very effective in preventing cervical and other cancers caused by this virus. I’m glad we had our daughter vaccinated. Thank you, Dr Taylor. I’m looking forward to this unit. 🌸
Cervical cancer is so deadly. I know a 21 old woman dying of it. She just had some bloody discharge, went io the doctor and it was already too late. Metastasis in the peritoneum. She died in a hospice.
@@MenopauseTaylor Yes I know, the pap smear test. She was on the contraceptive pill, I have no idea why she hadnt the test or she got the prescribtion without anual exam.

I love that! Thank you so much.

You'll learn all about it here. Your sister had Cervical PRE-Cancer, not Cervical Cancer. You'll see.

You have fallen prey to marketers or scammers.
A vitamin is a vitamin. A hormone is a hormone. They do not interfere with one another.

Hi.
Regarding risk factors… could just one sexual partner be enough to get HPV, if said sexual partner already had several partners

Would it matter if the husband had Ben sexually promiscuous before marriage
Of course it matters. The more sexually transmissible infections he's been exposed to, the more he has exposed you to.
