Thanks for saving me a freaking $200….Lebron 21s it is (especially on sale right now). I had a feeling the cushioning wasn’t going to match the Cut 2s, those are still one of my top shoes to play in for the cushioning alone.
Nice review and highlights as always Steve. I had my pair for about two weeks and I really enjoyed them but I feel like these could’ve been better. 😅 I hope to snag more of them on sale (if they go on sale). I really wish they stayed true to the original GT Cut format.
Agreed. The 1 is undefeated. I think part of the problem is there has been a different designer on each pair so some things may be getting lost. The 1 is still goat. Make it widely available and throw them on Nike by you. Make the masses happy!
unfortunate the heel doesn't provide any spring back. the clunky heel was the 1 thing I didn't like about the cut 1's. the cut 2's were an upgrade for me for that 1 particular part of the shoe
I guess I'm gonna have to try the GT cut 1's then cause once I tried these on it was a done deal! I went directly to my local health club (in Sioux City Iowa where I've had the pleasure of playing Kirk Hinrich before his tenure in the NBA) which is dusty AH and these performed phenomenally! Hands down BEST basketball shoe I've ever played in, they feel like a running shoe in basketball shoe form!
@@snkrtechtalk6005 hell yeah, excited for that. The reason I ask is because I’ve been bummed that I sold my gt cut 1s. Until I got the player one plus for xmas
I've been working mine pretty hard for the last 2 months and the most important eyelets (first eyelet and last eyelet) are as-new. The only eyelet with any significant wear is the second eyelet from the top which has about 1-2mm of expansion/tearing, but there is still another ~6mm of material there which feels very solid. I hope the wear will stabilize as it's not like a 'seatbelt' eyelet that tears faster as soon as it starts tearing. I play about 10 hours a week so I expect around 400 hours of wear out of this shoe at match-level intensity.
i'll see these boys in the nike outlets by july and im gonna get them
Good idea
I love the GT3 but the Og GT's are still better imo. Oh and nice lookin shot!

Just bought gt cut 3 for $71,nike app sale. 👌🔥

Great review!
How are the Ankles. Any ankle protection?
These seem great but I’ll wait until they go on sale
I actually like them a lot!!!
$190 without any carbon fiber plate, unreal, definitely not worth the price with just Full-length ZoomX
Ya I agree. On sale they would be a great buy
not to mention the upper feels like a complete downgrade in materials and construction, at least from the GT Cut 1
@@devincagadoc6619 agreed 100%
Bro for me not just the material downgraded but the design too. The 1 and 2 looked cleaner

im surprised you haven't tried the WOW10 yet.
I know this is unrelated, but do you prefer the player one plus or gt cut 1?
Video coming

Hey Steve. May i ask what the exact measurements of your foot are? Length and width
I’ll have to check haha
I was just wondering because i want to use it as my guide based on the sizes of the shoes youre getting. Haha
Hopefully the eyelets are strong and dont rip. Feel like if they rip or someone cuts them then the shoe is basically toast.
I agree

What’s the name of the song you start your videos with?
Light it up - Tilden Park
So GT Cut 1 is still king.
Don’t think they’ll make a GT model that will out-do the GT 1’s.
I will wait for sale ✌️
How’d you get it before release date
ID4shoes on eBay. Authentic seller
True to size?
gt cut 3 or ae1?
How these feel compared to Pg 6 foam
A lot softer imo
better supportthan the 2s?@@snkrtechtalk6005
So stick to way of wade or serious player only.. gotcha haha
Player 1 plus for me.
They should name these shoe gt run 2 😂
Hard pass lebron 21 is now $99 at shoe palace way better than this
