When you put the reel in low gear while deep dropping. Does it feel heavy to crank even if u dont have a fish ?

Low gear, is the same as high gear. The difference is the retrieve rate. The weight you feel is the weight you're using.

@Capitano_Davide yesterday My first use of the 40n deep dropping 10oz lure. I noticed its quite heavy on high gear without any fish. I reel on strike tho and i adjusted the drag to 10lb. Does it matter or i need to return it ?
