- What's new in the Back Yard Rink? Long Island, NY Summer ODR Hockey Setup
John took a trip back to NY with video editor, Michael, after the "panorama" shut it down for over a year! Check out the updates that were made & some training that took place during the short trip before the Roller Hockey season started for John. There was an extra bonus waiting in the container gym as donations have been accumulating and there was so many amazing donations of gear made for our non-profit, Hockey for Good 501c3.

Thats the dream backyard! What do you have under the tiles? If it is gravel, is it soft compared to concrete and tiles?
It’s actually concrete all underneath the tiles. They had to leave out the year and do some drain work to make it just right because it was a pretty big hill
Amazing video guys. That rink is outstanding. The rink boarder? Those just 6x6’s sunk into the ground? And the surface. Can you flood that in the winter?
We have never tried to flood in the winter sadly so I don’t have the answer for you on that. Correct the boarder is exactly that!
What are the measurements of the space? Looking to do something similar for my daughter.
