When i was in 7th grade one of my friend fell in love with this guy who was 1 y older & knew nothing about her..
She literally catfished him. Before that was a thing. So this 13y old girl in like 2006 created a fake account, stole a picture, pretended to be this really crazy & uggly girl & started to talk s**t about herself to him.. so he ofc started to defend her against herself... and the worst part was IT WORKED. she got his attention & you could se how high she was on the control over him she could have by it.

I find it funny that the Feds didn't see the need to lock Heather up and even loosened her house arrest and allowed her to work. As if to say, "oh, we're not worried. This idiot couldn't flee the country without making a rap video and including her airport, flight number and departure time in the lyrics."
I cannot believe heather is not behind bars, they stole more money than anyone could in bank heist. Yet, she's still able to live at home a work a job...WTF!

There’s biopics about things such as Beanie Babies, founders of Tetris , BlackBerry… the story or people behind don’t need to be that interesting. They just have to employ a decent screenwriter, director and a good actor and any person can be made interesting.

People want someone to tell them what to do. They want to believe. It doesn’t even matter who tells them. There’s also social pressures at play. When a self appointed guru has followers, others think that there must be something to it. So if people are vulnerable, greedy, eager, or some combination of those, they can be hooked. Whenever you see people swept up in some new thing, take a pause, try and evaluate dispassionately, and if you don’t completely understand it, take your money and walk.
Add to that Sam Bankman-Fried. It's that West Coast, Silicon Valley mindset where being weird as fuck doesn't set off alarm bells as quickly, and you're simply assumed to be a quirky young genius. Until it's too late and the money's gone.

I was laughing about her email template rant. - "Stop using the template I invented, and I know you are using my template because you signed of with 'cheers' - and I know you are copying me because I lived in Hong Kong, and I know you aren't British!" (I've exaggerated this a bit.)
Well, I've been signing off some emails with "Cheers" since before she was born. Not British, and I've never been to Hong Kong. The delusion is strong in this one.
We regularly used ‘Cheers’ to sign off emails back in the 90’s when I was starting my career in high tech. Along with ‘warm regards’ lmao. I think I should make a TikTok accusing her of stealing my sign-offs 😂🤡
After all that, I still have no idea how Heather was able to "finesse" her way into writing for Forbes, (and after the 1st article continuing to write for them), lead at seminars and conferences as speaker, and having a company teaching sales techniques (her explanation of which even she didn't seem to have any real dedication let alone explanation of what exactly the the co offered and to whom).... I mean, to get access to ANY ONE of these "VIP investors, or business owners, and high-ranking people she would need to network connection with, one would need a certain amount of charm, that "it-factor," SOME kind of commanding presence, SOMETHING...I mean, this gorl is the opposite of magnetic. She's shrewish and awkward and not exactly even likeable. HOW?!!!!!

One day I hope to get the audacity of young cis white women who position themselves as experts and entrepreneurs without ANY credentials or merit. Only the audacity though, not the scammy tendencies
Honestly, they do not seem intelligent enough to pull this off without someone else so I wouldn't be surprised if they were just pawns who thought they were the king and queen but they never made it to the other side of the board.
The FBI said they assumed that, but they never found anyone else despite how sloppy they were and how well documented their crimes were by them.
The current theory is that Bitfinex's security wasn't as good as people assumed - including Dutch - and he got very lucky, not expecting to get as far as he did and kind of had to scramble to try and work out how to pull off the robbery. Which is why the whole thing is so slap dash and weird. Which kind of makes sense.
This felt like a fever dream from start to finish.

I think that this is an example as to why giving your children self-confidence (to a point) allows them to overcome any shortcomings they may have been born with. Although a conscience is essential too. My other thought is did anyone actually buy this woman's rap music? I don't like or understand rap music, but I thought her videos were the most grotesque things that someone deliberately filmed.

Yeah, like I’m American (albeit I went to uni in the UK) and use “cheers” as a sign off. And once I started using it, a lot of my coworkers followed me and started using it too because they liked that it was step less formal than “best” but still good for the workplace. But sure, she owns that email sign off and me and all my workers are plagiarizing her for that.
