I am 59 years old, used to played steel shaft and pains all over my upper body, now I totally loved my new graphite shafts now and improved my game from 14 handicap to 8 handicap
love this video and channel! just found you guys. just placed an order for Axioms 105s. got fit for these and im coming from Modus 125S. there was a massive improvement on almost all metrics on making the switch. cant wait to get them on the course.
I started selling graphite shafted drivers, in the 80's, Ping woods, with strata block heads, and the weave could clearly be seen. I sold them for £88, mostly, to Japanese golfers, who didn't mind paying the "huge" price for a single club! (9 irons and 3 woods averaged £250)
Mmt 105 TX has been a game changer. Came from x100 myself same drivers, just felt heavy but great performance. MMT is the same feel, but less mass to move. Bonus is it’s tip heavy so don’t lose the head at all.
Do you take some weight out of the iron heads to account for the extra weight of the club conex? Seems like that would be crucial when fitting for lighter iron shafts.
I’ve been trying to switch to graphite for awhile to reduce wear / tear on the body. Many of them are very low weight and I either can’t feel the head or I get too quick. I’ve had several fittings that all put me in DG105 stiff. With that info, what would be a good graphite replacement? Note: one of the graphite shafts I tried was the Recoil Dart 75 in a set of PXG 0211’s. They did not work.
I understand graphite helping elbow and hand pain, but does it really help with back pain too? Any real world examples of back pain going away with graphite?
I don’t think it removes back pain but it can dampen vibrations that over the course of a round will cause pain. Also, lighter weights help with stress on the body.
Never heard of graphite helping with back pain. You generally want the same swing weight for consistency so the forces on your back will be similar. Best treatment for back pain may be to redo your swing with an expert like Patrick Cantlay. Also consistent gym time and maybe electromagnetic core treatments. I had a major sprain in my left shoulder about 5 years ago. If I do the gym exercises and deep tissue rolling, my should is 99% or 100%. If I slack, it will start aching again.

Been in Steelfiber 115s for around 3-4 years now. As somebody whos had wrist surgery as well as tennis elbow/shoulder strains it helps a lot.

Love to hear that! Keep us posted!

Looking forward to the full fitting video!

I switched to the Kuro Kage 80g stiff and my shoulder issues were gone. I've had those shafts in 3 different heads now.
Graphite is the answer !! Thank you.
Would be interesting to see him hit Axioms in 125X and 105X to see how he finds them

Axiom 105s or Accra Tzi 105
What simulator are you using?
What was the swing weight on that setup?
D3 on the Graphite and D4.5 on the steel

We've got carbon heads, carbon shafts, carbon everywhere, lol.
I stopped watching because of the background music.
Probably best! Music has no place on a golf course!
Standard generic RUclips music
