I have some observation that on majority of the videos LM / Tube amps plying some calm / slow music. Is such a tube amp able to play more demanding music? Prodigy on concert volume? Metal? Trance? RAP?
Hi @JJ22, please check on these clip and let me know what do you think ruclips.net/video/_GLt13zqULU/видео.html ruclips.net/video/YodfSqbYzps/видео.html ruclips.net/video/ZqDJ1qT-p3o/видео.html Sorry I don't have much of metal, will make some clip next time
Also the recording....the SET Amp is going to highlight and display all the recording errors that are generally glossed over by a lot of techno tracks.
I have found Bogen brand vintage tube amps to have a lot of deep beautiful bass compared to many others. Maybe due to their experience with PA's? If you go vintage Heathkit AA -100 & 150 have lots and lots of replacement parts as opposed to others. Plus they were made for Rock & Roll. Heathkit EA3 is a beast at only 14watts it is a super rock tuned EA 2 to appease the emerging rock & roll scene. These days we have the VTA 120 which is a super tuned ST70 and even crazier M-125 Monoblocks 125wats.
It depends… if you’re asking the speakers that produced from the 70s and it’s still sound great. This is incredible works. However if you try to compare with 10,000 usd speakers this day. Open streaming music you may find the vintage sound. Audiophile journey is to have fun and enjoy the music with the right tools which you need to find from a thousand of brands and products. I’ve just found the style that I am looking for with Line magnetic
@@AlphaAudioTH i don't think 10000$ speakers of today are better. I've been to many shows and I have a hard time finding speakers that are better at all sorts of prices
Sounds absolutely perfect listening through my b&w headphones!...just incredible!!
Thank you
Beautiful setup you don't need more then that
Thank you; I appreciate your kind words

search out Sarah 300b techno
The most important part is going to be having a fast and sensitive speaker these l300 work but I think the JBL 4425 would be better for techno

It may sound obvious... But: How great do you think that JBL l300s are?
