Wow. They came out incredible. I wonder if they sound as good as they look ? Lol i thought they were done in the beginning of the video and when u started working on them i was like . Hmm maybe he is showing us the inside of them too. 😅
@@QAudio Sorry !No such thing as mint crossovers in a speaker system that is over 46 yrs old, the min they need to be recapped with modern quality ones.
Hi. They look amazing. Can you please help me? Can you tell me what paint you used and is that texture finished caused by the air sprayer or the paint does that? Thanks for your help.
Nice job, they now look mint on the outside ! Visual is one thing but doesn't make it sound better. I certainly would of completed the job and worked inside as well, to get it back to where it was! Rewired and crossovers recapped as the min. You can still do it 🙂
With most old things better to leave them alone never do over the finish , it was factory now its not you will one day learn this about old finishes , just like guitars , any thing that has the factory finish should be left alone if its ancient big no no old finishes tell a story weather or not you see that , example Neil Youngs Black Les Paul he leaves the finish alone the guitar tells a story it is true with all things .
you should title this video "RESTORATION JBL L300 SPEAKERS BOXES" - removing the speakers from the cabinet and installing them back is not any of restoration....
Sorry to say that the original pair don’t need any refinish except some very minor touch up here and there. You kind of ruined them by erasing their history and value.
