    Why didn't they talk more about bullying? He is like this because of the intense bullying in their society.... not just in schools but also in work environments. This young man has been let down by so many people. The only person who has given him comfort is his mother hence his obsession. Society needs to change... bullying must be stopped. Bullying ruins lives. What a shame, this poor young man has had his youth taken away from him. I hope he gets the help he needs and understands that not all people are like those bullies.

    I think Hello counselor should have a psychologist as part of their hosts. Most of the time the advice that they give is very biased and some of these people need to hear advice from a professional point of view.

    • @shiloh8734
      @shiloh8734 5 лет назад +11

      I don't think you understand the point of the show. It's not really about the concerns. It's entertainment. They put comedians and personalities on to entertain the audience and viewers. If the show got too serious, many people wouldn't watch it. In Korea, while it's strict, people love laughter and funny broadcasts. That's what gets the ratings. Also, the people that come with the concerns get a little fame as well. Like the mother that wore a hijab or the little girl with different colored eyes. Korean TV and American TV are completely different.

    • @reiko872
      @reiko872 5 лет назад +11

      appletae Green I do understand the concept of the show and that’s why I watch it as well but a lot of people agree with me when I say that some of the concerns that appear on this show need the point of view from a professional. I don’t think adding a psychologist to the show will take away from the humor but that’s just my personal opinion.

    • @shiloh8734
      @shiloh8734 5 лет назад +2

      @@reiko872 Well, it's the people's decision to send their concerns to the show. I'm pretty sure they know the nature of it and how nothing would ever get too serious. Again, Korean TV is more so about laughter and entertaining the viewers. Psychologists must take everything seriously so they would put a huge damper on the mood of the show. There are times where the show would get serious and people would cry but the comedians must turn it around. If the person wanted to go see a psychologist, then they should go see one in private.

    I can see that the son loves his mother profoundly. This is totally a bit strange and weird because of his age 22 and still reply on his mother. The son need to work on how to be independent from the rest of his life because I’m telling the truth that when he’s getting older and older, his mother won’t be always on his side.
    Also, my mom teaches me how to be independent when I was in senior high school and now, I’m third years in college. She always want to make sure if I want her to go with me. I always tell her it’s not necessary because I’ve already know what to do unless in need of help or support from my mom.
    You know that you still have time to learn how to independent and need to break that bad habit.

    • @hextral9295
      @hextral9295 6 лет назад +1

      Joeline Alacon For him it probably isn’t that simple as just ‘Get over it and be independent’. He most likely has an anxiety disorder that inhibits him from acting independently. I can honestly say that I’m very similar to him, and I’ve been in therapy for years now. It’s an incredibly difficult thing to deal with, and it isn’t strange. It’s incredibly common for people in Korea to experience severe depression and anxiety because of the stigma around mental health and therapy. It isn’t ‘believed in’ for the most part, so his mom is all he’s had to reassure him, and that’s why he has such an attachment; She makes him feel safe. It’s incredibly more complex than what you would suggest.
