I just ordered the Helko Saxon splitter from y'all. Can't wait to receive it! I was torn between a Prandi splitter or the Helko. What smaller splitting axe would you recommend to accompany the larger Saxon splitter?

I’ve been looking to pick up a new hatchet. Narrowed it down to the Prandi German hatchet and the Husqvarna hatchet. Any advice on which to choose?

The Prandi German hatchet is an amazing little hatchet for the price, I don't know that much about the Husqvarna hatchet since we do not sell it and I have never had one.

It may be too late now... Huskie used to be very good, today you have a 50/50 shot. Many of the new ones have a bad heat treat and the blade is breaking off the head at the makers stamp.
Husky has a slightly harder rockwell, but not by much.
Never heard of a prandi head shattering though.
