The Montolit Flash Line Evo 3, or Revolution 3 Wheel Drive, is a new tool from Montolit that gives the installer the ability to choose the correct cutting wheel for the tile being installed with the turn of a "Wheel" This allows for a more precise matching of the tool to the surface of the tile. Watch this video as I show how the tool works and how to adapt the wheel to the tile.

When I'll renovate my house I'll definitely buy myself a Montolit cutter here in Italy.
😊👍
2:33 “This is where the magic is”! 😹👍
😊👍
A Track saw with renewable energy, your arm! Love my track saws. Great review Sal, and the beard looks butch!
😊👍
A thought when you arrived Sal u were ready for a showdown at the ok coral.. great video.. 👍🏽
Thanks 👍
Hi Sal, I'm tired of Chicago....going to come out east by you, I'll play guitar during the intro of your videos
😊👍
you already have it wooo !!! pretty cutter
Another great video! Thanks Uncle Sal!
Glad you enjoyed it
Could have done with that yesterday cutting 800x800 and 1200x600 tiles. Looks way easier than using a traditional manual cutter.
Bought on of these and spent half a day trying to get it right but no matter what I did I could not get a clean snap from end to end, not sure why it’s 2x4 porcelain 7mm thick the tile is self has a lot of flex wondering if that the issue. Best attempt I had gave me a clean snap except the middle
Thanks, Sal.
😊👍
Great to watch a master at work respect sal great use of the Porto's to snap tile must say I try to avoid anything bigger than an 800x800 just getting to sore on me to fit any bigger even that side getting a nightmare respect from scotland
After a certain size of tile, you need a crew to install them.
Wow, what an awesome tool I could’ve use that on the job I’m doing right now. 39 1/2 inch long tiles, would not fit in my 36 inch Montolit.
How’d you cut them?
Amazing tool
It sure is!
Amazing! I think I saw that they claimd to cut 12mm and even 20mm slabs...Have you tried those cuts/tiles?
That is impressively easy Sal. Is there a similar tool for smaller 12x12 porcelain tiles? Something easier and cleaner than my cheap tile table saw? And, are there special tools or wheels required if you are cutting natural stone marble tile, as opposed to porcelain? Thanks for the videos. I’ve learned more from you than any other source. I just did two bathrooms, one with Ditra Heat the other with Ditra Mat, and used SpectraLock-1 grout as a result of your video on that product. It was great! I didn’t have to rush and was careful to clean up about ever six (12x12) tiles. I got great grout lines, no film or mess on the tiles and the final result looks fantastic. The Latticrete caulking matched the grout perfectly and you can’t hardly tell them apart. You are a very generous guy to share all this knowledge. Quite the opposite of some trades folks who’ve responded to my questions with refusal to answer because I was taking work from them.
Buy a good quality snap cutter like this one , ruclips.net/video/8Ppe9Hycn3M/видео.html

I just purchased one. I'm slightly annoyed they don't include the Modular Extension Track as part of the 3 Tracks. Would make it slightly more versatile. Love your videos and support you on Patreon 👍🏽
Thanks for watching my video.
Nice! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Hi! How about Montolit moto flesh 2 is it good tools or just waist money?
I just picked up the montolit 155. 61” straight cutter. I was torn between getting this track cutter and the straight cutter. I hope I made the right choice.
I'm about to take the same choice....do you feel comfortable with the track cutter? Or a traditional cutter would be better? Thanks for the answer
thanks, everything is clear. 😊
You're welcome 😊
Hey Sal, have you used the sigma keracut? Which do you prefer? It has suction cups and montolit does not
How do you scratch cut in any cutter like this and not chip the polished tiles? I’ve used a Marshalltown Big Clinker. Is it my technique or could it be the blade?
Have you tried the Rubi slim cutter plus with the suction cups ? How does it compare
is the maximum tile thickness that this tool can cut 6mm or can it also do 9-10mm tile?
Hello, has anyone used other brands and compare to flash line 3?
Great video BTW 👍
Sal, have u or anyone else used this product on diagonal cuts for anything in the range of 36x36" or larger, standard thickness 3/8"+ porcelain floor tile. Im leaning towards this product, but need to decide soon with multiple upcoming large custom floor jobs with 24x48" and 36's, the 36x36" being a diagonal floor. The other option is the Sigma 51" manual cutter. There are a few other options in the board category but I feel the two best products or montolit or Sigma. I feel like this is far more versatile than any of the boards and It seems far better than any of the similar systems. Of course, that's all assuming this system is capable of breaking diagonal cuts? Would really appreciate any feedback anyone has on this. Thx
This is probably not an ideal product to cut standard 3/8" porcelain tile on a diagonal. Although it will cut standard tile it is designed for thin panel tiles.
The longest tiles I've ever touched were 8x48 planks. I cant imagine installing a 4x4 or bigger lol!
I'll be looking forward to you putting something like that down.
Not going to happen, I work alone, you need a cres for those.
@@SalDiBlasi I had a feeling that would be your response. It was a little tongue in cheek hehe. I dont ever see myself doing so either.
Just imagine the stress of cutting it right for a profile etc lol
Neat tool, don't think I'll be using it anytime soon though, as here in Australia residential jobs don't go that big of a tile. What's the minimum that can break off when you score?
Probably about an1" Like the one in the video
This question does not pertain to this video but just wanted to get on your latest video and ask you if you would still use the pro knee knee pads .I'm thinking about getting some and they're a little pricey for me but just wondering I don't ever see you wearing them anymore in your videos?
Best knee pads available, and yes I till use them and love them. Go for it.
Don't go cheap on knee pads as a tiler you need the best
Hey Sal, where do I purchase this?
Does the 2 Euro come with it, Sal ??
: )
jus' kiddin'
Only if you buy it in Italy

Jeff P ha ha...won’t help me this AM!! Lol.
Beno J Gundlach stocks it in USA, they are the only one in this moment. Approx retail price 720 USD, 676 USD is the old model.
Thanks Giuseppe.👍
You got the wheel sizes backwards. The rougher the tile the smaller the wheel you use.
OMG..... No....
Did you see the picture in the video of the wheels description, right from Montolit, who am I to argue.
Yup, it’s right there on the instruction page. Hooya! Sal is a guy who RTFM! Good to know.
Think you have that wrong Brian
You said the tile was 4’ ? Looked like 3’ long
48"
Do u sleep?. And show more stabila.
