Sorry for my tardy memory but that bolt on door mirror would not look out of place on Mr Riley. Riley purchasers wanted to stand out from the crowd so such an addition would be in keeping with the times.
I'm sure that would be the case here, but l have to use some artistic licence in these cases, so imagine you own your Riley RMF and you got the wife a Prefect, and to keep her asking questions about which is better you get some Riley door mirrors ? Then you say, well, it must be as good coz it has the same extras as the Riley ??
Curious as to what material you intend to make the new rear number plate light gasket of. From memory of similar vintage light covers I believe they were cork. Being an even older than Annie but not as old as my DUKW I was able to acquire sheets of cork, rubber, neoprene for such eventualities Keep up the good work!
Thank you sir, I'll be using some gasket paper l kept from my apprenticeship at IMI, it's kept well, not dried out so that will sort that, thank you for watching.
