This is how I used to feel when my late husband's entire family came to visit.

The Mintz Krazy Kats are the last cartoons I expected to have lore.

Dear but rather feeble 1930s style mayhem, with some creepy headless chickens

+gnikcohs The headless chickens scared me when I was a child.

I first saw this in an 8mm silent print. The chickens were extra creepy without a musical context.

A total insult to Herriman's creation

Any resemblance to George Herriman's comic strip is purely non-existent. At least the KFS 'toons of 1963 followed the basic storyline more closely.

Anyone know the song they sing in this cartoon? I know it must be important because this song (Or a variation of it) appears in The Peace Summit
