Thank you for playing this deck I posted a build of it that I hit M1 with last season on MDM and the decklist you used looks very similar to mine. I hope this gains more popularity and people can start exploring different options for it. Also vivid tail to protect Fountain from SP is mandatory imo.
@@astorakino829 I played one. If you go on masterduel meta and look up my name, bigbass, its the most recent deck. Very similar to his the extra deck is a lot different though. Zeus, Mosquito, and Downerd are extremely questionable choices

You play hope for escape over balance because its way more consistent, in a deck where you ideally at all time want to have 2 cards on field and 3 in hand

Watching it play out... This seems like the "best" control deck ever made Majespecter + Spellbook + Altergeist all rolled into one 3:08:45 - any guesses on what the "really cool thing we could have done" was?? I can't see it 🤷🏻♂️
The main engine is compact in size, few engine requirements and many 1 or 1.5 cards combo starters. This allows you to run a considerable amount of handtraps which is needed since the engine doesn't play well into established boards. Cards like legatia and regained (if you're on the bystial version) help you to further dig into handtraps to pair up with the otherwise not impressive but fairly consistent endboard that the deck puts up
