Hi Terry, I bought a second hand Imac 2017 i5 Ventura and it has 1 Tb ssd but 411Gb is occupied by System data. I thought doing this will reduce the system data by at least half? Can I use what you've explained in this video to do this? The previous owner just removed her apple ID but didnt reset it. The first option is not available ("erase all content and settings"). Thanks for the video. I also found your buying second hand imac useful.😊

is this erase the whole ssd drive or only the partition volume of mac os install,
I think it’s just the partition macOS is on. I would recommend using recovery mode if you want to erase the whole ssd drive.
