This video features many planes including A380, A330, A350, 767, and many more different aircraft types that operate out of Christchurch! This is incredible!! The light is perfect, what an awesome variety of Aircraft in this video, it's great to see that Fiji Airways are operating the A330's in & out of CHC now, brilliant footage of the Big Birds, (A350, 767 & A380) also very pleased you got to see the final Teal Livery Dash 8 ZK-NEO as she is about to be repainted in the new Livery.

So good to watch this video. I work airside/landside for an Air NZ partner, great to see Hangar 1,3,5, then the Terminal from a different perspective (Tug, Van or truck) SIngapore airlines, and Emirates are spectacular jets (more or less every day) Fiji Airways brings back lovely holiday memories from last year. Looks like a southerly blowing lightly that day, given the direction of takeoffs/landings
Thank you! Yes there was a slight southerly that day but not one you could feel at all! It was very still, it picked up a wee bit towards the end of the day but it was still very still!

Have never understood how the A380 gets away with thrust reversers on only 2 of its engines. Would have thought it would need them on all 4! 🤔
Yes, the reason why this is is because of the engines overhanging grass and how powerful they are, but I guess they just use more brakes!
