That's nice. Shame about needing plastic surgery to add the nose weight but it turned out fine. The bear is the only 1/144 bomber I want to get now. Wish I could find a decent one.
There was no need for the posts, only plasticine in the center of gravity of the model I first painted the Propellers or Reactors then the interiors of the gondolas and train shafts then I armed them I looked a thousand times at my model from the front to NOT stick the crooked Wings my collection was Revell 1/144 or Airfix 1/144 707-420 707-320 727-100 DC-6b Lockeed 749 TY-104A VC-10S IL-62 / 62M 1974-1995
Cool model, but it is not a Tu-95. This is Tu-142, anti submarine version of a bomber. I think, that for a prototype of the kit, Revell used a plane from Kiev Airplane museum.
Nice model. Altough the Revell 1:144 isn't a 100% correct model, it isn't bad either. Also it depicts a different version as the Trumpeter 1:144 model, which is a Tu-95MS, that's the more modern version from a new build program in the 1980s. The Revell model is a Tu-95RT maritime reconnaissance version based on the original Bears from the 1950s and 60s. It shows a narrower cockpit with different window framing and a different wing as well, the Tu-95MS shows a wing with a thicker chord and a different profile between wings and engine nacelles. To make for a more accurate model the wings could be rescribed and better landing gear and wheels fitted, those of the trumpeter model would suit, but to offer the complete kit for just the landing gear? I would rather build the Revell kit with retracted landing gear to hide it from be seen. For the 15 Euro's or 20 Dollars this kit costs it's a nice build, and kits are still plentifull offered new and secondhand.
Tom Lahaye, thank you, yes that‘s right the revell Model has many Constrction Mistakes in my opinion but it is cheapy, i do have the Model from Trumpeter, i‘ll share it when finish.
I've made one of these, plus used wings and engines of another on a BrazTu126 conversion.
A very beautiful and interesting model, it is especially pleasant to watch your work, I wish you great success in this hobby.
l am glad to hear that, thank you very much.

amazing model, built to perfection. 1 piece of advice. Don't take scale model photos with flash ON. :)

GENIAL!!!
I had a model of the Badger bomber once. Almost the same plane but with jet engines.
Nice model.
