I’m sure that’s really hard, but it’s misleading. He’s moving far, but the weight is barely moving, so he’s got a lot of leverage (like riding a bike on a high gear where you pedal fast, but the bike barely moves)
I have a home gym and each pulley cuts the weight in half, but for each pulley you essentially have twice the length of the rope to pull. It looks like there are 5 pulleys (5 screws) but I think there is more than 150lbs because here are the numbers. 150/2=75lbs 75/2/=37.5lbs 37.5/2= 18.75lbs 18.75/2=9.37lbs 9.37lbs/2=4.68lbs So basically 5lbs, he needs that many pulleys so he doesn’t need a 50ft tall tower for the weights to go up, but I think there are more weight plates in the bucket because 5lbs is nothing.
Looks cool, but when you know psychics its less than interesting. **YAWN** But its on a pulley system…. That’s cheating and just dumb. Why on a pulley? Just take off the pulley, add some weights to the arms as well and muscle it out.
This must look really cool to anyone who doesn’t understand physics
I was wondering.. the weight went up so fast and generating 150lbs of torque in water is next level.
Block and tackle
I was gonna say the same thing. It's probably close to 5 pounds after the pulleys.
Yes😊
@@deplorable-0nebro… 🤦♂️

agreed
Yes it’s totally wrong him pulling 150 pound with all this winches. 😅
I don't think "leverage" is the right term. It's torque conversion.
That's enough pulleys to be pushing him through the water
That's what I call impressive 😎👍
Cam McEvoy is american now💀
(Australian)
Thats Aquaman 🧜♂️🏊♂️😅
Look how many pulleys there are. Thats so much mechanical advantage he's probably pulling like 9 ounces
After all the pulley reductions he only pulling about 7.5LBS
The man said pooley!!!!😂
With all those pulleys he is pulling a small fraction of the weight in the bucket.
does everybody understand how a pulley work
One pulley cuts the weight in half. Two pulleys will cut the weight even more
I like pulling maybe 1,5 pound with that pully set up
He should compete with lia thomas
He is why that thing changed to women's
He's gonna swim like asian bolt
Hes not loftting that much when there are that many pulleys.
Summer work as tugboat👍👍👍
Every loop in the pulley makes it half the weight
Pully makes it easy. Its still hard but technically he isn't lifting or pulling 140lbs straight up.
A single person can pull 4 jets with enough pulleys
Mechanical advantage at work
150 in a power tower is fucking insane to be swimming that fast
that doesn't look like a 150 lb
150 in a power tower with like an insane amount of pulleys.
It sounds impressive but there are over 10 side by side pulley on the bucket alone😂 thats ALOT of mechanical advantage
Bruh......... thats beast mode
5 pulleys makes it 20lbs bro. You ever heard of math? 😂😂
It's to increase drag without affecting the hydrodynamics of the body.
Basically a poor peoples way of achieving what an endless pool can do.
That is not the correct weight with that many pulleys , surely it would be way lighter ?
More like 20lbs after accounting for the number of pulleys & ropes
Resistance training. It's what Evander Holyfield incorporated into his training to help him beat Mike Tyson.
Dude that ratio must be like 50:1. Although 3 pounds of horizontal force is still no joke for swimming
This is a legit drill. Most ppl use a harness that connects to u and they have weights like on a machine instead of well a bucket
That’s it, small beans 🫘 for an elite athlete
The pail is actually for water. They put iron weights cuz he needs more weight!
Superman when he need money
There are a lot of pullys so nowhere near 100 # but, impressive none the less.
The drowning machine
So dude must have a shark's speed without those weights😢
This dude is clearly a beast, but with that many pulleys my boi is lifting like 5lbs equivalent
Here before this blows up
That 150lbs divided by 12 no? I think him swimming without a cap would be more beneficial
With 10 pullies it doesn't make the 150 pounds really that heavy it diminished in half give or take...
He better be lol trains all day or does he work a desk job 8-5 lol😂
He’s Australian 😂. Someone is definitely not a real fan.
Spaghetti
150 pound is around 50 kilo. And because that Line mechanism and how it's work. He's probably dragging around 6 kilos 7 kilos. Close to 15 pound.
Isn't Cam from Australia?
how just one rope 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 you can try
Bro he's Australian
Whats the name of the song?
Me who cant swim 😢 😭
There are so many pullies that he prob is only pulling 15 pounds........
This anime asf.
Australia swimmer*
So probably around 30 lbs?

150/2=75lbs
75/2/=37.5lbs
37.5/2= 18.75lbs
18.75/2=9.37lbs
9.37lbs/2=4.68lbs
So basically 5lbs, he needs that many pulleys so he doesn’t need a 50ft tall tower for the weights to go up, but I think there are more weight plates in the bucket because 5lbs is nothing.
Just think.... he could join the women's bracket and rack up the records

He is not us swimmer
There’s only one pulley the rest are lines supporting the weight. He’s still moving around 100lbs
Do you not see like 5+ pulleys there? They’re small and connected to the bucket. He’s not moving even 5 lbs
@@Spiritualpanda2 🤣 ok
