Unfortunately that one was already spoken for, it was a commission to build. I would be happy to create another though, can I message you to work out details?
@@taitermakes please do. I absolutely love the design. The handle material was the perfect choice to complement the steel. I very much would like one made exactly the same.
Sounds good! I thought I was able to message you directly via RUclips, but as it turns out that doesn't work anymore. Can you shoot me an email at taitermakes@gmail.com?
Well dont call your self a blacksmith....maybe a "Grinding master".... If you prepare all material with high precision you dont have to grind away 5pounds...and use 15 cuttingdisks 5 grindingwheels 2-3grindigbelts.... Just a suggest.....
I find that balancing time on the anvil and time on the grinder is a bit of a science and an art, this is true. On the crossguard I bet I could have hammered it to shape better with a bit more time and skill, but I found that it seemed safer to grind it to shape, almost like sculpting it. As for the bevels on the titanium blade, I have absolutely no idea if its even possible to forge titanium. I only had one piece so I didnt risk it and just used the grinding wheel.
Excellente
Thank you!
If you just want to cut of some materials use a 0.75mm thick cuttingdisk with less pressure...it cuts like butter...
Yep! When I was cutting off large chunks of material, that's what I was using.
LET'S GOOOOO
LFG BAY BEE
How can I purchase that dagger?
