I remember my dad first bringing home plastic wedges for wood cutting. I thought he was nuts. I definitely learned that once again he was right. Damn he's always been good at that.😂
This is rhe most amazing thing I have ever seen. Legend. The sawmill opwrator seemed very grumpy.... This seems like the start of a World of Warxraft instance/dungeon.... The making of one!
Northern Washington is a great place for self-made business owners. My uncle owned and operated a rock quarry for years and became wealthy. I’m glad to see Jason making his own resources to build what he needs to help extract more resources from his mine!
Jason really liked seeing what it really tales to set up a mine from getting & cutting wood to framing. Can’t wait to see more & results of your gold mine!👍👍😎💪
Golden work Jason Gave me a Major Flashback! 😳 In 1995 I bought a portable band sawmill. We owned 40a in Harrietta Michigan with beautiful 24”~36” Red Pines. I logged off, sawed/dried enough to build a 24’ x 64’ two story timber frame barn. I did this work By My Self 99%😅 It was a super fun Bucket List project. I really enjoyed the sawer’s grumblings about the dirty logs. 😂 The dirty log issue I solved by making a log sleds. Really interesting video. Thanks Jason Peace Prospector Tripp
🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 Way to go Jason, I've been waiting to see this video since you spoke of it.... im thrilled to see what you pull out Be safe, and have a bunch of fun Videos every week or so ??
You always blow my mind with how resourceful you are . . . And that's a great lesson for me and anyone else who has hard rock mining aspirations . . . The more resourceful one is, the lower the grade of ore one can sustain themselves with. Fantastic example as always . . .
Is there anything this guy can’t do? Pretty sure next he’s going to be baking cupcakes from locally forged materials 😂. Totally respect the hustle man, looking forward to part 2
keep an eye out, you never know but i think the Lynden Fair is about to or is ongoing, he might be entered in some of the baking competitions with the other grange ladies
I was a log scaler for a saw mill in maine many years ago and watching you scale those brings back memories. We would deduct for rot and sweep or any other blemishes and then pay on the scale. But now im into recreational mining 😂
Dang, Jason, you got the wayback machine running for me today! Felling trees, limbing, setting chokers, then using a rubber tired skidder to move the trees out ... reminds me of when I was a kid in the woods of Montana with my dad. Thanks for rekindling the memories! :o)
Wow man, you have a wide skill set. I just came for the mining, but the woodworking and sawmilling was a major bonus! I love all that stuff. Great video.
I am going to share this video with Sarah Huckabee-Sanders and other people in hopes that it helps convince people who much we need to resurrect the small scale mining industry in America!
Great Video Jason! I love the way you brought both your channels together for this projects and am genuinely looking forward to watching and learning as you dig deeper (pun intended) into this project! Cheers, Kyle.
I love watching your mining and smelting videos Jason! It was cool to watch the process in getting the timber for the mine. I didn't think too much about the wood necessary for the hard rock mining but it was interesting to see. Good luck with your gold mine sir!
Looking forward to seeing what comes out from the mine, Jason! And that's a pretty sweet Studebaker truck at your sawmill 🙂👍 btw, anyone else notice the frog at the mine entrance??
Fantastic development and great to see familiar miners helping you with your new endeavor 💛🙏🏼 Before you start mining, maybe have the "pond" area inside the mine, where that miner was murdered/drowned/dropped, cleansed by a priest 🙏🏼⭐
Very cool! Congrats on your progress. Would love to live in an area with so many natural resources! Nothing like having your own trees and local saw mill to cut them. Definitely cheaper than buying wood at your local home depot.
I seem to remember the same guy saying almost the same thing on am other video. I mean, they were dirty logs and they do dull the blades all to hell…. but dang they came out of a dang mud pit. How do you clean off a massive log?
Super excited for this project!
amazing that your operation is so sustainable
Bloody hell mate I was glued to the screen, nothing better than timberfallin millin and mining. They go hand in hand. 🇦🇺👍🏻
Thank you. I look forward to watching this mine unfold.
this awesome! you are very talented.
It always amazes me how big trees look on the ground.
Man this really brought back memories! I used to cut for the railroad industry, tie logs. I kinda miss it.
That's really cool! Appreciate you showing the process step by step - wedges and all.
I remember my dad first bringing home plastic wedges for wood cutting. I thought he was nuts. I definitely learned that once again he was right. Damn he's always been good at that.😂
Thanks Jason… this is exciting.

Yes, still lots of natural splendor to ruin up there. Flatten it all! Cut and burn!
Yes the Crystalline core of the North Cascades is full of minerals and volcanics
Uncle Al in Kendall? He's my uncle too, lol.
Don't the payloads tend to pinch though?
Nice Job.. looking forward seeing more!
Excited to watch this series. Turned my notifications bell on.

Great this will be the adventure of a lifetime! Good luck Jason! If I was 20 years younger I would work for you but I’m only a manager now!
I've been looking forward to this chapter of your adventure
I was not expecting a "Guilty of Treeson" channel bit. Nice job Jason!
Brilliant work. The absolute essence of practicality combined with very smart thinking. Bravo.
The view from that deck is incredible. I would live in that thing and enjoy that view with my coffee every morning.
Jason really liked seeing what it really tales to set up a mine from getting & cutting wood to framing. Can’t wait to see more & results of your gold mine!👍👍😎💪
Wow Jason your a Jack of all trades. I'm going be be enjoying the adventures to come
Jason will be prospecting on Mars in a few years
@@JasperKlijndijk😂😂❤
its so satisfying seeing how much timber you came back with after cutting down and hauling that huge tree, at the low cost of a new bandsaw blade
And gas, and wearing and tear on the truck, chain saw, etc.
Jason, I am looking forward to this mining series. Thank you so much for putting all this on RUclips.
Love that you show all the steps that need to happen to get to the point of actually mining of your gold

This is really interesting to watch Jason, thank you for taking the time to show us how you do it.
My grandfather worked for Cal-Mills. Scrap was brought home so we could build forts. One man's scrap is another child's fortune.

This beautiful tree absorbs all the metals from the earth and loves the two ancient essences, gold and silver, the sun is gold and the moon is silver.

Please add more of the landscape in the videos, amazing view,
Great to see your progress Jason. 👍 Looking forward to your next video. 😀 Great view there. 👍😊
Great job! This is Ron from MineOperator. I see you used a Humboldt cut when felling the tree to maximize the lumber on the log.
Great video! I really enjoy all your videos and I'm looking forward to this series of you opening your gold mine. Can't wait!
Awesome Jason love all your hard work and great insights into mining and refining. Thanks for sharing.
That was awesome. Saved a ton on cutting your own timber. Loved it when the pipe just broke after trying to cut it. Glad you are up and running.
Jason, this is so awesome. I have been waiting as I am sure many have. I am looking forward to this. Good luck and be safe.
Congratulations Jason with the first steps of your own goldmine🤝🏻
