Hey thanks takedown! And yeah the weather has been weird lately but I guess that's spring. Can't wait to spend all night out there soon. Hope the catfish have been good to you!
Hey bud thanks! I've been out but just been doing the family stuff on the water. The kids like to swim more than fish so we've been exploring and finding places to swim on the river. But we've out every week so it's been fun. How have you been making out this year? Find any hogs yet?
That thing is what got em in the boat. I was out a bunch of times before that and couldn't catch anything but channels. Can't wait to see your flatty videos start dropping but I've been loving your stuff still. Those channels you catch blow my mind man.
Just digging into the video, hope all is well! Ive been wearing myself iut trying to figure the raystown stripers out. Nice being able to leave the house and be at the launch in 30 min....not so nice throwing lures for 60 hours without a struper to show for it lol!!!
Yeah all is good bud, just been taking the family out on the new boat a lot and haven't focused much on the fishing side of things. I went twice for flatties before that and failed. I've heard Raystown stripers are hard to figure out. I hope you get into them soon, that short drive should help a lot! Hope you're doing good and all is well!
I use 30lb mono mainline and 80lb mono leader for abrasion resistance. Hasn’t failed me yet even in the big ones. I use the 30lb so that I can fit more on my real and can break it off it I get snagged.
I'm Back in the saddle again. Song

Thnx for sharing
Haha yeah it feels good to be back! Thanks for watching!
Great first trip bud. Be glad when night temps stay 65 to 70 all night. Nice Flats way to kick it off. 💪👊👍☝

Glad to see you getting back on them. Shouldn't be too much longer the night temps will be warmer
Thanks man and yeah I’m hoping this weekend is fire. Good weather Friday night for em and the water is at 70 degrees.
That last flatty had a serious appetite!
Yeah I'm not sure how it managed to get that thing in it's mouth, but it worked for a while to eat it. Good to see ya here man!
Good to see u out on the river!

How about hook size? Are 6/0 octopus sufficient? Thanks man, glad I found your channel!
