boil the sago separately then add to the rest. Let the glutinous pearl last but don't stir until it's done. Salt must be added to complement the sweetness.

actually, youre doing a great job Andy. My suggestion though, in order for the glutenous rice to be continuously formed into a ball, you need to mix it with a warm or hot water, gradually. And form them like a 1 piso size.

Ms andi para hindi magdikit dikit ung glutinous balls mo,budburan mo ng glutinous rice at isa isang ilaglag sa kaserola para ung balls buo pa din..at stir no lng lightly, its ok khit ganyan looks yummy nman kasi madami kang sahog😊though not so perfect but then u cooked it happily with love😊
Pag maganda kahit ano pa ayos maganda talag..and her pure heart radiates.
After boiling the gata, add in the glutinous rice balls then add the camote and gabi let it boil with constant steering. When camote and gabi are half cooked add the rest of thee ingridients plus sugar to taste. Thats the way we cook it here in the tagalog region.

Siargaonon dialect is a bit closer to Cantilangnon (CCMCL area) of the south. It only differs on the accent and some certain words like "tabudlo" which is also for us is "Ginat-an".Cantilangnon has deep words and harder accent contrary to siargaonon which is soft. Surigaonon on the other hand, has mix of Cebuano/bol-anon but in general magkasinabot ra gihapon Kay same ra surigaonon. Same ra waya waya jaon jaon. Bisita anay dire sa mainland silingan ma'am Andi. 😁😅

Life goals! Ang cooking tabudlo is so much fun! good job mama! Tip, mas maliit pa yung glutinous balls kasi lumalaki sha pag naluto. Then, isa isa ang paghulog para hindi magkadikit dikit. Pwede rin sa water mo muna ipalambot lahat, then add the gata at the end para hindi mag evaporate lahat so mas creamy sha. Nakaka miss ang tabudlo or ginatan sa tagalog.

boiling sago: you pour some oil to boiling water before puting the sago to avoid sticking to each other..and upon draining wash it with cold water until the sago gets cold.

I used to do the same sa sago ko but I now learned how to make it: Super boiling water then bring in the sago pearls and continue stirring until its transparent (then luto na siya). Just a simple tip :)

Cook the sago first and put aside after it is cooked. Boil some water add the rice balls ( don't make them too big) don't stir it just let it cook in medium heat. Add your camote, gabi and banana and last the cooked sago ... then add your sugar and the gata. Keep in medium heat and add water if needed to make your tabudlo soupy.
