Boy would I love to have this system up and running again.

It’s horrendous we don’t have anything like this anymore. Like I love my car but if we had options like this to get so many places there’s is many many times I’d rather hop on a small train and take that where I’m going

motoring urban-transit naysings' make me wonder whether their stubborness stem from their naysayers' unconscious recollections of wholesale eliminations of public transport from the past; they must bear mistrust towards the day's ruses claiming eliminations of road congestion...

For those watching, the last of the NS&T trackage in Thorold and St. Catharines has become abandoned as of March 1st, 2024. Trillium Railway placed the red flag at the southern end of the Thorold Sub, meaning the only rail movements north of there are the CN Mainline

What an incredible inter urban. Pity it gave way to the mighty tyre. 100 mph running ! People would be screaming for a service like that today.

Spent a few months commuting along a coastal-interior Andalusian interurban...the FLEETS being SO numerous were SO organic-like 🍸

The saddest thing in Niagara is, going around places where rail tracks use to be .I wish the TH&B passenger service between Buffalo,Fort Erie , Welland ,Smithville ,Hamilton and Toronto still existed .

to my then-six year old self, living near to some COMPREHENSIVE Iberian inter-urban system had felt like an eternity...its countless variety of old-time cars or consists, its incredibly lively settings outdid either the Metro or the Expo-Express (heavy duty subway trains plying ginormous Man & His World fairgrounds enveloped by the mighty St Lawrence) 🍸

pound-for-pound, the NS&T was still FAR more efficient, reliable and had better service than the regional bus system the Niagara Region has in the fall of 2023

Was it possible to ride on the interurban in standing settings during the rush hour?
