I think analysing Barrets game, he got found out after the 2016 loss to Ireland. Every time the forward pack werent winning, he had no control with his kicking and playmaking … he was a good runner in 2016 and 2017, but a 10 needs more than that! Look at Dan Carter, not much speed but knew how to run the team when the forwards werent winning the front battle. Thats why Mounga was picked, but hes been abit found out in that area too.

Worst decision ever by The coaches. Mounga hasn’t had a single world class game for the all blacks, and he’s played 50 tests. He looks so average with the all blacks, can’t even take on the line. Roman entamack was bullying him in 2021. Mounga is used to having weak opponents and referees on his side, like he does when he plays for the crusaders. Absolutely shits himself when we’re against the tide on big international games. Useless.
