this remains one of the best competition show performances ever... especially for being self produced!!! the members made so many great choices for costuming/song arrangement/references to other songs and all the extra little performance bits like throwing glitter and somyis iconic "whos your ultimate bias?" section... and then on top of all that theres the incredible vocals and dance!!! and that first rap never gets old for me. truly cant praise it enough this whole performance still gives me chills

She does not lack anything at all, In fact, I think she has so much star quality that she could've been picked up by major players in the industry and make her into a superstar. Unfortunately, she will never be able to achieve that due to the lack of support from her company at that time and now she probably won't be coming back to the industry.
Well, she already try posting some cover after the unit with another Matilda member (which is haena and now she busy with her musical). she even try to switch genre to trot which sucess for Hyoyeon (she ex BESTie vocalist and, she also on the show). But, also failed. (As far as i know, she auditioning for Miss Trot ). She still active on Instagram if you wondering
thats why the selected Uni G disbanded. they needed a person like Semmi to construct and compose songs, and needed euna to anchor the group cuz euna had a strong stage performance. unfortunately, as a fan of both, semmi went on the downlow, and euna moved back to the US and moved on, got married and settled.
Some people have asked where Semmi currently is now after MATILDA disbanded. Semmi is currently participating in the Miss Trot Season 2 Survival Show, under her real name "Oh Hee-seon". Go support her. Also Hyeyeon of BESTIE and Nari of Wa$$up, who were also contestants in The Unit, is also participating in Miss Trot S2. So its a mini "The Unit" reunion on Miss Trot S2, go check them out. PS. And yes that is Lee Hangyul. Before he was on Produce 101 and debuted with X1, he was a contestant on The Unit with his group IM. While he did not become part of the final Unit B lineup, UNB, he did make it to the final show, and showed people his story and potential.
i honestly think semmi would make a great producer. she did an amazing job here, looking at her group and their strengths and arranging things that played to exactly who and what she had. this performance was crafted by her and it's one of the best performances from the show. it's been two years and i still come back to watch it all the time
that final note ... ohhhhhhh so so good I watch this in 2022 and it makes me so sad even though its so good. Euna turned to Jesus and Somyi is an adult streamer ... The Unit was the "last chance" for so many truly talented girls. Semmi's voice ... so incredible ... she - all of them - deserved so much better and so much more. This performance is still one of my favorites of all time ... right up there with Produce 101 Bang Bang which started the careers of so many. It feels like The Unit was the final for so many ... To make matters worse nothing even came of the final groups of winners. Like what was it all for? A couple of songs in the end and then disbandment ...
semmis part right before the intro set up the whole stage though also they could debut as a group of 9 well just because their voices work well together and seem to have chemistry. plus they are all amazing and had fun

Semmi is literally AMAZING. Also in some shots, that hairstyle makes her look a little like Gal Gadot. It really fits her well, I wish she kept it instead of getting the bangs and dying it dark :(
