    I am new to using reflectors, and this video was so incredibly helpful. Showing all of the pieces in use while you were talking things through was so great. I was feeling intimidated before, but you explained everything in such an approachable and easy-to-understand way, and I'm feeling so much better now. Seriously such a great video! Thank you!!

    Thanks so much really amazing ..plz i need help how can i put reflector while i am taking photos which surface i put on also i bought new softbox ..shall i buy reflector ? And which is better round or square?

    • @SteveWalterPhoto
      @SteveWalterPhoto  3 года назад

      You'll have to experiment with making sure the reflector is bouncing the light from your soft box. And the shape doesn't matter much, unless it's being reflected into an object. The rectangle will typically bounce more without taking up as much space

    Does choosing which diffuser to use (soft white/gold) depend on the skin color/tone?

    • @SteveWalterPhoto
      @SteveWalterPhoto  3 года назад

      Not for me in most cases. The difference between the gold and soft white is a matter of how much light (and what color) I want on them. The soft white will look most natural and smooth. The gold will add. a lot of light and will mimic a sunset light. I recently used the gold when doing some poolside photos and I think that's maybe one of the first times I've used it.

    The golden hour needs a gold.

    • @SteveWalterPhoto
      @SteveWalterPhoto  4 года назад

      Agreed, it can be so much easier to just have this. Although, I’ve found that I almost always need a 2nd person with me to manage it. Sometimes I can on my own. For me, the golden makes it too golden. I’ve found bouncing with the white side during golden hour puts back enough warmth.
