Most led in the market light spread to the top, what it really need is 360. LEDs that can dim, aren’t as bright as the normal bulb and range of dimming is minimal. 02 clusters are the best! They have the illuminated needle, reflective face, allows light to pass through more. If 01 and 02, use the regular bulb for cruise control, because LEDs won’t turn off. Left, right, imobilizer, high beam, and Odometer can use flat face led bulb. I’m still figuring out which backlight bulb works best-either original style with a color cap, or 3 way LEDs. Flat top and old school style led still causes dark patches. 03-05 gauge used integrated lights and won’t look like the one in the video.
Was planning on doing this to my 02 civic but after seeing the end result I’ll stick to the oem ones as they light up everything and the leds leave a lot of dark spots unlit
Andy Tommy Keddy I actually just bought some last week for mine and did so much research on them since I didn’t want my lights to flicker or my drls to not function. But I bought the Nineo 9003 (H4) led bulb on amazon for $55. They exceeded my expectations and fit perfectly into my 02 civic sedan. Thanks 4 the video man. Exactly what I needed to know👌🏽
No worries, didn’t turn out as good as I thought but worth a try I guess.

The LEDs that were used fire straight into the gauge faces. Need ones that fire 360° or use a reflector.

Jonathan yah I was kinda bummed about that too, I’m changing my cluster to a different one. I’ll make a video and show you that.
Andy Tommy Keddy I may do the same since I’ve already changed everything to led except for the cluster gauge
Andy Tommy Keddy have you upgraded your stock bulbs for the headlights to led yet?
@@Jonathan-pr1wo No not yet, I'm trying to figure out a good bulb. what bulbs do you have?
