If you have a chance and are in the area of this location check it out! It’s super fun and long as it’s not raining very easily assessable!
Wow perfect timing! I'm truck camping in Flagstaff on my way to the grand canyon tomorrow. On my way back to Odessa, Texas I might have to make a stop along the way in Duncan. 🤔
By the way I'm a geologist so this is right up my alley
Amazing finds, love it 🤩
Danggit wish I had known you were in AZ I'm only a short drive from there in the safford area. If you ever get a chance try to go up to slaughter mountain. Or deer creek some of the best fire comes from those two places. Happy hunting!!!
@@bradcarter7388 Slaughter mountain? That sounds dope where is that at
@@bradcarter7388 Slaughter is the way to go!
Southern Arizona resident for a few years now. The way you're flipping those rocks at 5:50 is the best way to experience a scorpion sting. :-)
Matrix is the dog with the most miles on the road for sure.
Except van life pp
People
You'd be surprised to know that there are many many more dogs with possibly more miles. Matrix is forsure In the upper range however
My jaw drops open so many times during your videos, I think I’ll have to tape it up!
💎💎✨✨✨😱
This stuff washes north up the Santa Cruz into Tucson. You used to be able to find it all over the river bed before a couple years ago when they bulldozed it all for a failed reclamation project
beautiful finds! Whaaaaaaaaat!
Your enthusiasm is great!
Thanks 🙌
This are my new favorite formations
Oh my gosh, I love fire agate! Watch those fingers, guys and gals, lots of critters in the desert will bite you! Give Matrix a hug from us, Brian, and cheers!
I legit love living here! This is literally right out my door and it makes me so happy that I'm where the most beautiful gemstones reside
Love your work.......... freaking me out with your nonchalance around all those black widows tho....gees...gloves man... gloves....😫🤣😫🤣
They're not aggressive, though, so that's a good thing. They'll retreat back into the web before they choose to bite - usually.
I love fire agates, probably my favorite hunt
Now I’m seeing more inspiration for Arizona walk. New to upper. Northwest- Kingman. And you did it without a hammer! So my walks may not be that easy but I’m not going to stop! Thanks!
Good finds. Glad you kept Matrix in the RV on that night walk, we wouldn't want him hurt by a black widow. Living your best life!
You are In my state. Love you Crystal collector. You are one of the few that I have literally watched all your videos so when I see a new one I click on it same day usually.
That’s so cool, thanks so much I appreciate the support! B🙌🙌🙌⚒⚒💎💎
Hello from Tucson, I have found so many specimens of fire agates in many areas around the city!!
Awesome videos
Omg you were literally five minutes from my house!!!!!! How awesome sorry I missed you!!!!!
I lived in Franklin growing up and still have family all around Duncan. It was super cool to see that little town mentioned here!
I used to live in Safford/Thatcher AZ,awesome place. We found a big female tarantua at foothills of Mt Grahm and kept it.I left AZ and my Bro kept if for like 5 yrs before letting it go back where we found it.Thanks for taking us along on your rad adventures.🤙
Omg 😲! My sister would be in heaven finding these by the hand full, and yes so I'd be a very happy camper😊 too.
Again, the same finds. We'd gone to Quartzite (the yearly show of anything you'd want to buy - rock related) for our business- that we had selling finds, jewelery made , etc. We took a drive onto a paved side road to sights unknown , parked, got out & as you said, it was everywhere! That was 40 years ago! Good to know it's still that avaiable. Kept looking & we found some turquoise. Successful trip. Always fun & to play in the dirt! Can't wait for next weeks show!
Really enjoying these trips as I'm familiar with the areas. My bucket list is to find an arrowhead, but one I can keep!
Loving those botroiydals!!!
I had the same type of experience at Saddle Mt on BLM just 40 miles east of Phoenix the spring of 2020. Thanks for taking us all along. aWeSoMe❣️9:52😆
Nice👍, I've done some of that before. Only got to spend an hour out there. But I could have spent a week out there. Need to travel out that way again some day.
Fire agate caught my eyes today.
Gorgeous fire agates & fanny packs FTW!
So glad you could check out the great state of Arizona and the treasures that it holds. Like fire and Chalcedony agates and quartz crystals. Whaaatttttt. There's some spots in Arizona that have green/purple flourite. Enjoy your time here and ROCK ON!!!
Love that location . Love when my job send me to AZ so I can bring some agate home
Whaaat !!! A caveman!?!? 00:17
You should have a red rider wagon picking up aaaaaallll those goodies for bonuses!!!! :D
You are the coolest
haha frank was probably just seeing the reflection of his green shirt at 10:21 but it was still a great find. We love your videos been watching since we figured out you made that awesome discovery of the quartz vein in Gwinnett county GA where we are from. keep up the great work dude and keep having fun!
Yeah Frank is a funny guy! Would love to check around Gwinnett county again one day, that vein was just barely tapped into but now a house is on top of it
Cool place. I love spiders.
Awesome!!

Whaaaaaattt! Yes perfectly timed to watch when I get home from work ! Thank you ! Sending love from Sedona !!!! 🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜
Saddle mountain outside of Tonapah AZ is another place to find some good fire agate.
I appreciate the knowledge and keen sense of humor you share 😊 Beautiful finds 👍
CANNOT WAIT for the polishing video!
Your videos are so informative and helpful. I think that you should consider doing a special video showcasing the best finds in your collection.
I also enjoy your humor and the fellowship you have with the other rockhounds. Thanks for sharing your experience and tips.
Lots of my best fines are in private collections and museums and personal collections at this point. But I do have a few good things here and there. There is one collector that has bought many things from me that I could go and do a video there, that would be pretty cool
@@TheCrystalCollector YES if the person was agreeable to you filming the collection of finds. That would be awesome!!
Dude I saw so much stuff I would have picked up! 😂 I would have needed a bucket or two
Good find, Frank. I would be happy with it.
I've collected in the south eastern section of California., by the AZ. CA. Border(south east of Blyth) I still have some raw as well as polished now. We actually broke it out of matrix rock.
I never knew these existed... Wow they are beautiful 👍💕
I have really bad anxiety and these videos are so relaxing to me. I swear they help me sleep 🥰
Love the new format, if this is it.. Keep the love going 👌
Such a cool video ! Thanks for sharing !!!
Great educational work. Thank you.
Dude! Awesome finds! Spiders not 4 me!
Nice finds!
You must have a large number of pieces in your collection, I would love to see a video showing it off. great videos dude.
Hi Brian. I'm one of your members and want to ask you if you have ever released a video about collecting Crazy Lace Gate at the William D. Patty mine in Summerville, Ga? I am about to make a trip there on July 9th, 2023, and would like to get any feedback you might have on that location. I've seen several videos by others and the material there is fantastic and very easy to collect. Collecting is limited to Sundays as that is an off-day for the active mine site. The owner, Mr. Patty is great about allowing rockhounds to collect at NO COST as long they sign a release of liability form they prepare in advance using a boilerplate document. There is no hard-rock digging and access to the tailing piles is easy. One can park their car right beside the piles and one can take as much as you want. Mr. Patty mines rock and gravel for driveways and construction and the nasty agate and crystal vugs keep getting his way! He loves for rockhounds to cart them away. You can google his map info in Summerville, Ga using William Patty Construction Co. I'm going to shoot some video clips of our collecting and will post them on my own RUclips site. I will let you know afterwards as this looks like a great spot to add to your own video offerings. Please reply if possible.

One of my favorites!!! Awesome!
My favorite agate. 😍
If you get a chance you should swing by the Florida mountains near Deming NM. They have a ton of old mines on that mountain and a chance of seeing Ibex if you're lucky.
Dang, he cleans up good!
One of my favorite videos!! I love these agates ❤🔥❤🔥❤
When gas prices come down, we are heading to AZ! Thank you for the video.
Love the fanny works great
lizards! 🦎 everywhere!
Oh wow!! Not too far from Tucson! I got to get over there too someday soon! Love your channel & Matrix!! 🌞 beautiful summer sunsets in Arizona!! 🌞🌵👾🌸🌻🐦 Wooohoooo!!! For certain!
I have a rock I need identified! No doubt you would know what it is.... Found 31 years ago near Catalina State Park.
Nice finds! Thank you for the info.
Sweet Gems! Amazing stone! One of my ultimate favorite stones! 🔥
Nice hull, may i recommend going a little further west into my home state of California and you can also find some really nice fire agates and opals all over our deserts.
@Shane Carubbi
Hey, I live in RC and rockhound pretty much every day (unless it's summer 💀) and I've found some stuff similar to fire agate, but no fire. Awesome stuff nonetheless, but I'd love to find the iridescent stuff. Also found loads of opal, but just common. Anyway, I was gonna ask you where might be some good places but then I remembered I live in California and rock hounding is close to illegal nowadays. So never mind!
Beautiful stones
Fabulous!!
It would be cool to collect some bags of surface level dirt to dry pan all the white agate pieces too
One only crazy enough will go to Arizona and dig for crystals when it’s 115 and monsoon season
What does monsoon season look like in Arizona
@@Petra999 well there’s a lot of dust storms for one, the other night it rained and it was a consistency of dust and water...rip to all white cars, how does one go about becoming a geologist? I moved to Arizona real recently and can’t keep my eyes off all the rocks even in my yard it’s a plethora so I’m trying to dive into that and not a 9-5 delivering pizzas
@@colinlemieux1764 not trying to sound like a smartass but getting a geology degree is the way to go. I got my bachelor's last year and started working in oil and gas in Texas in April. Most employers nowadays require a degree no matter your experience or knowledge. That makes sense though my truck gets so caked in dust within one day after a car wash
Awesome botroidal crystals there. That obsidian piece looked like it was worked into an arrow head, as used by the romans. Great finds
Wolf spider ain't afraid of you giants!
Really enjoyed the info along the way ! Thanks again for all the awesome content ! May the force be with you 💧
Wow this place is amazing! Defiantly on my bucket list
Absolutely killer vid guys!! Freaking LOVED it!! Y'all havin too much fun!! KILLER !!
Some great looking pieces Bryan, Keep Safe & Keep Rockin.
Amazing video my friend, congratulations, keep up the great videos you upload!!
Super fun! Hope to get out there some time.
I appreciate the way it is filmed. It gives a real feel as if I was there. 🌞You never fail to bring some joy into my life)
My absolute favorite hands down. Would be my dream to be able to do that.
That obsidian point is definitely an arrowhead! Hey, great haul! Thanks for taking us along!
I love 🔥Agate. Wonderful finds, looking forward to your polishing Video.
gotta love a good fanny pack!! I always carry one on hikes, just in case if I see a cool rock I like!
Thanks for the video and information. My wife and I spent 6 hours there a few weeks ago. This place was amazing! we got a nice little haul of fire agate. The stuff is everywhere, just like you said.
Hello!! Me encanta veros de nuevo , y me encantan vuestros vídeos y los minerales que encontráis! Un abrazo desde España..
Love it, here put up a map and pin point every place you've been. I'm going to try, its great you real as Rocks get around.
7:27 Cows are smarter than humans think. That’s what “I’m busy leave me alone” sounds like😎 Use ur green light
I’ve never heard of Duncan, and I live in Arizona. Go figure 🤷♀️
I always find so many cool “rocks”, but I have no idea what they are!
The coolest specimen that I’ve found so far is what I believe to be pink quartz in the side of a mountain and on the reverse side was the shape of a heart , I collect all things in the shape of hearts that come from nature.
I love your show!
Bryan, be careful when flipping up big rocks there….snakes!!!
My inner Arizonian alarm bells are going off every time you grab a rock palm size or bigger without quick flipping it, and just hold it. 😳 That's how you get bit or stung by something. Its an anxious rollercoaster for me to watch. Lol
That was just based off the beginning 5 min, so I hope that doesn't happen further along in the video.
Excited about your cool rock finds!!
Edit: 5ish more min in.. "Guys be careful out here, maybe I should have worn my gloves." 😂 black windows are super creepy. Bleh.
Those are some nice rocks man!
The first spider that almost bit you we call a wolf spider & those black widows we call redbacks aka the dunny spider in Australia. One day when possible I'm bringing my family over to go check out some of the site's you've been too.
That’s so cool, let me know if you come this way! Will have to do some digging together!
I'm going to be in AZ soon OMG I can't wait !!!!!! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT
I bet you have such a huge collections.
Fun!! Thanks!!
I’ve never seen ones with that light lilac color. Beautiful!
Often, the only way to really bring the fire out is to carve (that's the technical word) the layers. Don't put anything in the tumbler till you're sure there's no fire. There are some good videos on carving fire agate on YT. It's pretty painstaking work which is why it's so valuable. Plus FA is rare. You got some great pieces! TFS 💖🦅 P. S botryoidal formations are just my favorite!
Prairie dog holes. You have to be kind of careful because they can carry the plague. But I always always check the dirt around em because they dig down a good ways and I swear some of them are rockhounds. Lol always good to check, usually fresher material possibly unchecked even in a popular area.
Do an episode on Fairburn Agates in South Dakota. There’s plenty places to look for them just south of Rapid City, SD. And since you’ll be in that area, go to Tee Pee Canyon and look for Tee Pee Canyon agate.
I have to admit finding that point and not being allowed to keep it made me sad lol. Im new at Rock hounding and from Ga. I love watching your videos and I learn so much. You are so smart, laid back and cool!! Thank you!!
I dig it.
