Is it six films or five? "WTF Did I Just Watch?!" Dude, PLEASE resist the click bait thumbnails. Your channel has so much potential, and I have been subscribed and enjoying your content, but you just lost a subscriber with this mess.
2 of the films were short films. 4 of them were feature films. Did you even watch? This is exactly WTF I watched. This is the line I crossed with you? Gee thanks. 👋
You've got to allow RUclipsrs some slack here. Clickbait is when you're promised something you don't get after clicking, which is not what happened here, and it's the RUclipsr's job to bring more eyes in. They're TV presenters. You don't, I hope, get heated about trailers for TV shows or billboard ads on the street.
@joechapman8208 Its true. If I don't make a good thumbnail or a title. RUclips won't let my OWN subscribers know my video exists. Doesn't matter how honest or long I work on content.
In Shadow....it's an animated short but also might be one of the most important films ever made, literally every human on earth should watch it. Its only 10 mins long, but you won't be the same after.
I loved Darkroom when I was a kid. I was pretty young, but my parents let me watch horror and thrillers all the time. One of my earliest memories is seeing The Hills Have Eyes at the drive-in when I was three.
I'll dig a little deeper in my horror collection see if I can recommend something you haven't seen. I'm always looking for that next jem in horror. Happy to see your channel growing and keep doing what you love. Thank you from a horror fan too another 🖤
Damn! You went deep with these films! I haven't heard of these before. Love it, Alex! Side note. The girl in the animated movie, Demon City, kinda looks like the girl from Perfect Blue. At least, that's what I see. Also, appreciate the plug.
Thank you for this list of cool movies. Hey on Prime have you seen a documentary with a disclaimer saying that people that watched this movie experienced some form of tragedy. It was pretty weird. I believe it was called Devil house, or demon house. It's a creepy documentary. 😳
How much would you guess the budget of Shallow Ground was? It actually only cost $72,000, everyone worked for deferred pay, enthusiastic to take on such a juicy project, quite remarkable...
@ you’re welcome and thank you for these weekly watch list. Has really help expand my movie watching experiences. I no longer watch the same movies over and over again
What about abruptio? Would love to know how to get hold of that.. none of the dodgy sites have it and none of the legit sites do either! how can I watch it 😭
Ita available for Blu Ray. On my Abruptio video there is a link to buy a copy. Unfortunately not all movies aren't online. That's why I buy movies physically.
New to the Channel. If you haven't seen it "Maksym Osa" the Ukrainian film is well worth a watch. "Kandisha", the French urban legend film is also worth axwatch.
I have a short recommendation that looks & feels like a dread fueled A24 horror movie 😈! The short is called "In the Shadow of God" by Brian Sepanzyk. I feel it is criminally underrated! It's in my top 3 favorite horror short films right beside Portrait of God & another criminally underrated (Lovecraftian/cosmic horror) short called "IT STARES BACK" by Matt Sears. @btvcast I'm YEARS behind on TV! Lol I'm reminded of another film that a lot of people haven't talked about, called "Open Grave" with Sharlto Copley? Really good.
A movie rated 7.5 out of 10 didn’t even make the top 20 list for last year? Were there really that many horror movies out last year that were better than that?
The Returned is the Revenents. They had American One. But the picture I shared is the French one. Same name. The American came out years later. And I agree.

You sound like a major A-hole
I applaud your sense of humor. It's fun and original.
In Shadow....it's an animated short but also might be one of the most important films ever made, literally every human on earth should watch it. Its only 10 mins long, but you won't be the same after.
Thank you!
I absolutely LOVE Handling the Undead! It's one of my favorites of the year!
I'm struggling to keep up with the watch lists! It's a good thing keep it up Alex!
Alex you had me at zombies!!🧟 🎉
Oh, Portrait of God was creepy as hell.
I loved Darkroom when I was a kid. I was pretty young, but my parents let me watch horror and thrillers all the time. One of my earliest memories is seeing The Hills Have Eyes at the drive-in when I was three.
Man when you first talked about the Coffee Table I went and purchased it on Amazon and what a fucking ride it was. Thank you for that hidden 💎 🤘

I've been listening to the band Fear for decades thanks to the movie Nightmares!😎

Also, appreciate the plug.
Of course man! Ans ya know I just got that movie! And the sequel!
@ Hell yeah!
How good is it Perfect Blue?
@ Perfect Bois is one of the most influential and weird films ever.
Ice not seen it yet! Haha

Is that the Zach Bagans one? From the Ghost adventures? If so yes I saw that one. Also thanks!
Shallow ground is available for free on RUclips 😊
How much would you guess the budget of Shallow Ground was?
It actually only cost $72,000, everyone worked for deferred pay, enthusiastic to take on such a juicy project, quite remarkable...
Oh wow! That's not a lot even back then. They did a lot with what they had.
hell yea!
The Short film Somnum done by Ashes to Ashes on RUclips. Very cool horror short film.
Saved! I'll add it to my list. Thank you!
@ you’re welcome and thank you for these weekly watch list. Has really help expand my movie watching experiences. I no longer watch the same movies over and over again
I love hearing that! Glad to have you along for this ride. Really means a lot to me.

Welcome! Thanks for the suggestions! I'm collecting quite a few!
you should check out the short "Spider" (2007) Australian black comedy that is horrifying..

Got them! Thank you. You alla are the best! Should have a list pretty quick like this.
I love Norwegian horror! Have you seen the French film called "They Came Back"?
That's actually what the returned is based off of. Funny you shoukd mention it. I NEVER knew there was also a film. Check out the show.
@btvcast I'm YEARS behind on TV! Lol
I'm reminded of another film that a lot of people haven't talked about, called "Open Grave" with Sharlto Copley? Really good.
Oh yeah one of his most serious roles too. Not a bad film.
A movie rated 7.5 out of 10 didn’t even make the top 20 list for last year? Were there really that many horror movies out last year that were better than that?
Yes. A lot for me i saw hundreds of films last year. But I've only done a top.10 so far.
@ oh I thought you said you did a top 20 list
I'll be doing it soon! Here's top 10
For now ruclips.net/video/lhTytWMKQXc/видео.htmlsi=B2ymLQfJePA4xa3a
The Returned TV show was crap, and dumbed down for an American audience.! The French version called The Revenants was soooo much better!
The Returned is the Revenents. They had American One. But the picture I shared is the French one. Same name. The American came out years later. And I agree.
The same sad treatment was done to the brilliant film Speak No Evil
Horror Short Film on RUclips: Piggy
Holy balls, I used to watch Darkroom when I was a little kid; didn't really understand what was going on, but I just remembered it scared me...
Its nice to see others know it!

Nice thank you!
Nightmares is a cool movie. I like the episode of that EVIL truck. It reminds me of that old but awesome movie The Car. 🫨😁
Yeah that thing came jumping out the dirt all crazy! Haha
@@btvcast I love it. There should be another badass car movie like the original not the horrible remake.
