THANK YOU Tamron for letting them hug!! If everyone has tested negative before being allowed on the show, hugs should be allowed. Human touch is so vital for our humanity.
I totally agree!
I think it's a blanket rule for all broadcasts... because not all broadcasts (or guests) test before every show. So... since not all test & we know not all vaccinate... no one can hug on camera.
But I'm glad they let that happen.
@@miwawilliams1339 Well, the producers shouldn't have produced the segment in this fashion. The thought process is flawed: "You know what will be great? We'll bring Nischelle Turner on the show in studio, get her emotional about her role model, surprise Nischelle with April Eaton also being live in studio, Nischelle will get so overwhelmed with emotion and then... here's the best part... they sit down six feet apart without touching! THAT'S GONNA BE A GREAT TV MOMENT! EMMY, FOR SURE!"

I had that moment watching Robin Roberts on ESPN doing highlights on Sportscenter. I met her when I was 16 and I told her I want to take your job 1 day. I still have the picture. I went a different route but I felt Nichelle so much! This is why representation matters ♥️

I'm not in journalism, but seeing Monica Kaufman on Channel 2 news in Atlanta was life changing for me. Growing up in the NE there were no women of color on the news.
This was beautiful. I'm in tears. I'm not famous but I have such fond memories of going to my Aunt Beaulah's house and spending hours looking at Ebony, Jet and Black Entrepreneur magazines. Those images changed my life. It helped make me proud to be a Black woman. Thank you Auntee. I love you. You are an amazing woman!

I cannot believe I am crying. My tears are so hard to come by I found myself crying and couldn't get myself together. Had to turn the door, thank God there is a door I can turn. It hit me when Nichelle said, "I can't hug her?" That is when I lost it. Trying to muscle up to watch the rest of it.

I majored in journalism in VA back when there was four or five Black female news anchors on TV over the years. One of whom graduated from my alma mater and is now my FB friend. Seeing this brought tears to my eyes.

Tamron Hall does have the best audience and great guest. Tamron be dressed to the nines and her hair always looks nice. Her interviews are worth watching Proud of you Tamron.
Turner is a good person the way she is happy for Tamron to get more seasons just expresses that. Sometimes these people on this level of success only connect when bad things happen to people, when good things happen the evil eye comes out.
