You'll never understand. Let me guess, you had at least one good parent and love in your household? You join a gang when you don't have the love and acceptance in your own home..at least most people. The other ones who join out of thinking it's cool are the ones who quickly realize it isn't and they get out or get killed. But the ones seeking love will ride for that gang the same way a son would ride for their mother. Same thing. We all just want love. It's rooted in love although it ends up being this horrible violent stressful end product. The intentions are usually pure. Every gang has a couple psychos though who are just bad seeds. And then the rest are just products of their environment. You'd have to know how it feels to have no parents around to understand that feeling of needing something. It's a horrible feeling. I experienced it and luckily I'm so resilient that I just kept going forward despite it, but I had drug issues and all that. So I completely sympathize with these guys. We shouldn't be scolding them we should be educating them and building them up because a truly confident and self loving human being would NEVER join a gang. So we just have to make them love themselves at an earlier age and then we'll see them make better choices. There's just no one to even teach them what love is in most cases.
