  • In this abaqus tutorial, I talked about Inertial Relief Analysis using Abaqus, a powerful finite element analysis tool for unconstrained or partially contrained bodies such as aircrafts. I hardly find any tutorial about inertial relief in abaqus on youtube, so I decided to make a brief video about it. Stay tuned to elevate your structural simulation skills and achieve reliable engineering
    insights!

Hello!I have a model using inertia relief, I use it to calculate the statics analysis of 8 working conditions, of which 6 conditions convergence quickly, there are 2 working conditions after the calculation analysis step time reached 0.33 seconds, there is a non-convergence problem. May I ask what ways can I adjust to make my model converge under these 2 working conditions.

If your part/assem is 100% constrained (all degrees of freedom)using inertia relief, then u should check for other boundary conditions or constraints etc. check msg file or dat file.
