Hello, the video talks about using a relative path, maybe you can help. This code in html did NOT work in android (works in windows). Trying to do 2 things. 1. SIMPLY linking 2 html pages together is not working (both files in same folder). (page2) 2. Linking a pic did not work (in a subfolder). () Can this be made for any android tablet/phone, any year, any brower? (Do I use a shared space?) Do you have an email? (Cant find anyone that knows how to link 2 html pages in android??!!!) Thanks.

Great, but incomplete video. What about Android 13 ? This video came out last month, I suppose you know all about it, right ? Unlike the official documentation which still refers to deprecated methods ... Is it impossible to save files on shared storage now ? Except photos and videos, I mean ... -_- I cannot believe Android do not permit anymore to save datas after the app is uninstalled, and at least an official API to do so O_O
[note of frustration] Oh my god! I only need to access the csv files from one directory. Why does this seem absurd on Android? I developed an app for salt analysis for a client, using random forest as ML model. I made the interface using tkinter (and it works great). My problem... Now the client wants an Android version for the same app. Since then I've tried everything... kivy, toga (and beeware), chaquopy, flet and kotlin. and in two years, I was unable to access the files in the folder. I learned everything else, except the simple one, how to get access to files in a folder (storage/0/downloads e.g.). There are only futile things... to do list, image viewer... but a simple csv file read app examples... nothing.
You are improving privacy but developer and user experience are becoming horrible.
Kindly do not add other 500 permission to save a image

Yup, they could ask some of the permission in playstore itself. Just like the data safety declaration.

The DX is very poor. Too many permissions to follow through the video, let alone while coding. This is insane
