- Hi everyone, I'm back with a Dollar Tree Inspired Rotating Cake Stand. It's inspired by Dollar Tree's Diamond wrap. I did not have enough in stock to complete this DIY using Dollar Tree's diamond wrap but I do show you how to use a inexpensive alternative wrap. I also updated my previous DIY rotating cake stand with fairy lights. Comment below your favorite or if you like them both.

how does the lights work? Or did I miss that?
You missed it. They have a usb plug on them so you attach a plug to it and then plug it into the wall. It has a fairly long cord so it does not interfere with it turning. Thanks for watching :)

Dollar Tree f LM don't have the best lazy Susan(rotating tray,) if you know of one let me know where so I can get some
they have metal turntable part at Home Depot if you want to create one from scratch. :)

Beautiful, thank you. Quick tip as someone who cuts a lot of styrofoam for village landscape.. if you seal the foam with something like mod podge or the like and let it dry, the spray paint won't melt it :)

Design Master spray paint is formulated to be used on styrofoam, fresh flowers, silks, and other fabrics. It will not eat into the foam if you'd like to try that alternate brand of paint. Design Master can be found at Michaels craft stores and I'm sure at other places. :) Just needed to add that this was a beautiful project!

Beautiful and elegant. I think I would tape a bent, long paper clip so as it acts like a mini handle and make it easy to lift the cake pan off the table. Thank you so much for sharing.

It looks like Ebay not only has some ready-made ones, but they also have the metal industrial ones that can be attached to a bigger wooden platform if you are trying to build one for a larger cake.
