    Thank you ReNae! I was just about to call Michael as I thought that I had tried about everything including new red bobbins and the Towa tension guage. For the most part my stitches were looking good top and bottom, but then occasionally the top stitches would flat line when traveling from right to left. I was just thinking that I should tighten up the tension top and bottom---and then I came across your video that confirmed that thought. Thanks again for your generosity in sharing your knowledge in your videos. I appreciate it. Kelly

    Ah, thank you! My machine stitches so much nicer running tension a little bit tighter. I've read lots about tension; watched videos about tension only to find so many quilters run loose but every time I tried that, it was problem stitches.

    If you have railroad tracks on the back, will your quilt fall apart when washed?

      +Rebecca Randall I'm not sure if it will "fall apart" but if the tighter thread is pulled it comes out very easily. If it isn't pulled then the stitches would stay.
