Just received the Remarkable 2 tablet for my birthday and came across your channel as I’m trying to learn how to use it. I am so thankful for your videos and after watching this planner video, I decided to purchase this product from your Etsy store. I’m in love! This is amazing 🤩 I homeschool my 7 kids and run a very busy household and this planner and the tablet are going to help my brain so much 😂
I have the 2024 version of the planner. I played around with it before I found this video. Here you mention a couple of things that I am not following. I am sure it is because I am new to the reMarkable world. You mention, always use the "copy' when you duplicate or it will break something. Well, I didn't catch this before I had already done that. I am struggling to figure out what it broke or might have broke. Finally, you keep saying "duplicate and move" but I am unclear where you mean to move them. The business pages and notpaper styles are fantastic. I am just not getting where you are supposed to move them. Is there another video that digs deeper into the moving concept?
Hi Mark.. when u duplicate any page in a planner, you can move it if you want to… you don’t have to but you can if you want to… I’ll make a tutorial on it this week and post it covering all of the things for you👍🏻 So the “break” thingy is the ‘hyperlink’… Hyperlinks are the coding assigned to an image or a word that sends you to a specific page/location within the planner… thing is that in the last 6 months there was a software update that treats a “duplicated” hyperlink differently to how it use to.. I’m sure they will update this software but atm Duplicating a Page is a little more complicated.. I’ll explain more in the video I make this week👍🏻

Hi David.. if it’s a small change to one or two pages I can do that for you 👍🏻, if it’s a change to the Daily Layout which impacts 365 pages, then I would basically be rebuilding the planner page by page which takes me hours and I do do that for customers who purchase our “Customise” product 👍🏻
I have the Daily planner purchased and have looked at all videos. The thing i dont understand is the Duplicate and Move you talk about. Where do you move the duplicate to?
Hi👋🏻 You can move the duplicate to wherever you need it to be in the document.. for eg if you needed one of the Notes pages in behind a certain day because you want to add lots of notes then you go to the Notes page, duplicate it and then move it to behind that particular day.. does that make sense?
@@Nightrod66 the latest software update is a bit glitchy with hyperlinks so you may need to do a test with your planner on your rM machine.. test moving the original or the duplicate.. hopefully they will fix the glitch soon👍🏻
I dont know what I`m doing wrong, when I duplicate the Meeting Minutes, it dosent matter if I take the original or the duplicate and move it to a date. The moved document will always be the Meeting Minutes original when I choose a new Meeting Minutes template.

Can this be used on a macbook or is it only for remarkable?
yes you can use it on a macbook -all the hyperlinks work and you would use the type function to add your info 👍🏻
