    Here's more proof that the G.I.Joe #8 you have is a first printing, on the bottom left of the cover we see a black suited Spider-man head, G.I.Joe #8 came out in november 1982, Spider-man didn't have his black costume until January 1984, so a first printing should have the normal Spider-man head.

    The Marvel “M” does not guarantee a first printing on many issues. #3 is a perfect example. #25 and so on.

    Gijoe fans that collect the toys get burned everyday by 2nd print sellers that don’t disclose it. Gijoe toy collectors, nostalgia seekers, and comic collectors all intermingled together in the selling landscape.
