Never help inside the paint on weak side defense. Physical post players she watches her teammates struggle without adding pressure. And she quites when things get hard. She has soft handles, no ball fakes. No rolling to the basket.

caitlin needs to work on her midrange shot and lefthanded layup from what I have seen. She needs to take more than 9 shots. 2 games 20 shots that should be her average in 1 game. You are absolutely right about Clark on her critique. And the reason why she doesn't take over at the end of games is she is just not good enough to do it. She's not Kobe level like everyone is making her out to be. Her fans don't want to hear that so they try blaming everyone else especially her teammates, becuase they are not Kobe level either. But they are not the scrubs Kobe had to carry either when Shaq and Van Exel were off the team as well. They are solid players including all stars like Kelsey Mitchell and Aliayah Boston.

The Ogwumike and Ezi Magbegor front court is so lethal, they completely shut down the paint. Ezi in general is underrated and she should be in more all star talks this season.

As I watched the games with the Sky and Fever, Clark is playing to beat Angel Reese. That's what is expected of her and it is payback from collage. I believe that Clark is not coachable with Coach Sides. Clark doesn't like the team. She is the point guard. In Iowa it was get the ball to Clark and that was it. I don't thing she listens to Coach Sides. That's my take away from the Clark. The fans have hyped Clark up so much and the expectation is not valid. CC is an alright player but, she has to be willing to get work differently in the WNBA. The outside noises are affecting and effecting Clark. I wish Clark the best of luck.

I know the game, there are minimum 3 other channels, 2 of them coaches, that like me can talk about the fact that every time CC got blitzed Sides had them running exactly the same action to Boston on a high roll to her left, then absolutely zero execution after, no one cutting, no hard screens for CC to get open off the ball for good looks. It is so bad it is embarrassing,. Since Sides does not know how to teach these players to run a sophisticated offense, and Lin Dunn won’t fire her, then she needs to hire an assistant that can construct a pro level offense, and teach this team how to run it. If you think you can do it, send in your resume, not sure what you think you are going to accomplish as a vicarious observer, lecturing other vicarious observers, how to be fans, lol. I see CC run off the ball screens when she’s not bringing the ball up the court. So stop it with this coach blaming. CC isn’t strong enough yet after a few seasons in the weight room she’ll b ok. But right now when she gets bumped on defense without the ball she can’t get open

You don't typically need to run a "sophisticated offense" when you have superstar players. You just need to take care of the basketballand make smart plays and not shoot yourself in the foot and get out of you own way. It's not like these other teams are doing anything really that "sophisticated" The Fever supposedly drafted a superstar and they waiting for her to play like one.

Ok I read many comments form Clark haters on this section. And after having to rebut these foolish statements with evidence, it has really endeavor. is a futile endeavor. Inspite of having teammates that can't catch a pass, against the Sky Mitchell missed 4 right in her hands. being double and triple teamed, being told not to shoot, having her teammates not pass her the ball, she still leads all Rookies in all categories except Rebounds. And after last night she is only 4.5 rebounds behind Reese who she is ahead in all categories as well. In pts scored she is 13thwith 249 pts/ Reese 35th with 135 pts. She has broken 5 Rookie and WNBA records and is on course to break 3 more. It is amazing to me how so many people wish to tear down her game, for example, saying she can't do this or she afraid or doesn't want to get her hurt. Well, you must have missed all the double and Triple teams. She has been battered and beaten up all season. What Fever games have you folks who say she is afraid have you watched. Especially in the beginning of the season. It sure is not by watching the Fever games. The people who saw them are just making excuses for her. So, you are saying she is not shooting to protect her statistics. What a garbage statement. Her game of late is by the COACHES design. She has been told not to shoot often. Sides clearly has said that, and it is on tape. Sides has 3 players she wants to feature in the offense. Clark is playing her role which is to pass try to set up the play and let her teammates shoot. More than one observer has stated she should say screw it and just shoot. What's the coach going to do bench her. I am sure the attendance figures will reflect that approach. Now about her not attempting a floater or jump shot. First of all, CC had both shots in High school and was very good at them. Go and look at any of her High school games. She had all the shots. When she arrived at IOWA her coach said she wanted CC to focus on Layups and 3 pointers which she did for 4 years. That is why she did not shoot those types of shots in college. When she arrived at the Pros she has little time to work on those shots which once she does, they will come back quickly.

Nobody really hates Clark. People are hyper critical of Clark because her “fans” say incredibly outlandish things about her that don’t pan out in reality and when she fails they blame everything and everyone but Clark. It’s annoying.

CC will develop a more rounded offensive game....she has to adapt. She will I think. She will get no help from Sides or her teammates and this is obvious.

CC is the best player in the WNBA! Just watch all the games played. How many other players are guarded from one end of the court to the other? How many other players are getting double, triple & quadruple? CC is not perfect and got more work to do. CC "Turnovers" - half of her turnovers are from her teammates not catching the ball. When her teammates do catch the ball, they miss WIDE OPEN LAY UP! Watch her amazing passing skill! You need to see the games! CC is popular due to her logo shooting & passing skills. I want everybody to answer this question: How many of us would pay premium $ for a tickets to see players do lay ups and missing lay ups?? Logo shooting & passing skills is what people want to see not lay ups!

Magic Johnson. Guess who leads the NBA is career turnovers, LeBron James. Caitlin is doing fine in her rookie year! Her 16, 6 and 5 is incredible and her shooting percentage is getting better, from an early season 33 % in recent games around 50%.
