I love that Alex and willie are gay, but they aren’t stereotyped at all. They can behave the same as all the other guys but still be into each other
same and the fact that there was no coming out scene and then discovering themselves as if it’s the craziest thing. i love that they just exist and are out and are proud.
I also love how they didn’t make it their WHOLE personality.
Ikr I’m actually happy that they added a gay couple because I think it just is so amazing that they added that it will help LGBTQ+ younger childern be more confident in themselfs also! And they are a cute ship :)

I love how Willie and Alex are portrayed in the show. Neither of them are made into a stereotype and it's not made into a big deal which makes it even more powerful. I always smile in their scenes.

I don't think Bobby is a villain. I think he took the music because everyone else was dead. Also I think if he gets to talk to them he will tell them how much he missed them. he doesn't' look scared in the last scenes he looks freaked but not from fear.
He quite literally looks like he’s seen a ghost. I don’t think he’s a villain either atleast not in season 1
I'd believe that if it hadn't been 25 years without acknowledging them or paying any tribute to them, especially Luke since he wrote their songs. Also, he changed his name and didn't try to keep their names or legacy alive. The whole situation gives me Coco vibes... But I don't think it was that extreme, I think their deaths just worked in Bobby's favor. It'd be cool if in season 2 we get to see how Bobby grieved their deaths and how long it took him to get back into music again.
But given everyone else has died why not honor them especially Luke and give them credit for the music that has given you the life you're living!! That's my biggest issue with Bobby, he could've atleast given them credit!
Exactly but I do think that for them to cross over they will need him to play with them too. Because julie didn't help them to cross over so I think they need the band back together for the three of them to cross over.

My recommendations for the show include:
1)More background on Reggie and Alex. More about their families like with Luke. Maybe Reggie tries to get his parents together or just to see where they are now (besides a bike shop).
2) I think that it would be cool if they try to help Willie out with being free from Caleb.
3) What is with the connection with the mom? Why they are seen with Julie even though the only connection they had with their mom is the T-shirt and compliments.
4) Conquer Caleb
5) Caleb is trying to figure out the connection between Julie and the boys. Probably why he possessed Nick; to find out why Julie can make them visible.
Get Reggie a girlfriend (ghost? Carrie? Carrie’s friend?)
6) Background with Carrie? Why did Julie and Carrie have a fallout?
Add more if you love this show!
Season 2 just has to happen now, honestly can’t wait a year for it to come out and a Willie and Alex duet is a MUST not an idea, a MUST 😍🙌🏻😭

I kept coming across this new show every time I opened the Netflix app and finally gave in. I am 75 and my first reaction was "you gotta be kidding me". I've watched the series twice. The second time in one day. I got so much more from it the second time. Imagine what a third viewing could reveal. I really need the second season...............and soon.
Kenny is right there is so much talent in every one!!!
Growing up I always knew I like girls and boys but I was still confused and often ashamed of it. Seeing an openly gay character in this show really warmed my heart. The lgbt community needs more representation and I’m so glad that this show had it. Not only is he openly gay, but we get to see the support of his friends around him and how excepting everyone is. The scene that really teared me up was at the Hollywood Ghost Club when Alex was alone while Luke and Reggie got to dance with girls and Caleb noticed and brought out two guys to dance with him. The little things like that really show how this series gave great representation and didn’t just add a gay character just for bonus points. Another thing that I noticed was the diversity of the cast, getting to see a young Hispanic girl play such a strong female role is super inspiring, we need more people of color in this industry! Amazing job to the whole cast and crew for making a magnificent series! I pray for a second season!

It is truly so refreshing to see people just be who they are and have the same “normal” storyline as everyone else. I really think it is important to see lgbt representation that is more than just an lgbt person they have more layers and get more development.
I loved this movie as an adult I loved how it shows love friendship without the physical contact but you can see the love ready for season 2 already
