I used to have 20ish friends that played Apex regularly. Now zero of them play, myself included. Guhrl's point is definitely a big reason many people have left. But it really comes down to neglect. People wanted a game that works but it was used as a cash cow which has stolen the soul out of Apex.

@mk-19memelauncher65 the issue is much bigger than that. Even sweats themselves leave because it's always a grind to play and the content gets stale.
Everyone (causal, sweats, pros, etc) are all leaving because this game sucks in general.

I am the Ceo of GoNext esports an org that had the same roster for a year around paying them good money in off season and supporting them while not making a dime. The org is consisted by 3 guys that have made 0 money we got no sponsors and we dont sell jersey's dumb or not thats who we are. We only do this out of passion for esports so please dont assume stuff and post it without even asking.
My thoughts. First I'll start with viewers. So last night for kicks I logged on to twitch to see the numbers. 93k for minecraft 19k for apex. As of writing this message, 13.6k for apex. The views are gone. It used to be 50k to 80k.
For me personally, I only watch algs. I'll watch RUclips videos occasionally. As for playing, I still play on console. I get to plat and go to pubs as the lobbies are more difficult in Plat. Then its rense and repeat every rank split. The game is dying for a multitude of reasons. Less views means streamer income decreases which causes them to find a new game. The game is old, the servers are old, the skins are recycled. Since all the milestones were hit, there not much to watch pubs or ranked. Cheaters...... do they exist, of course. Go watch a famous apex player stream ranked and watch them cry cheater over and over. It's annoying. It gets old. Half the time it's not cheating, it was lag or another pro. And I'm not talking about someone obviously getting stream snipped by the same person for an hour straight. I mean when Hal calls someone out for cheating when it was really just Enoch on a third party.... it's time for a new game, either apex 2, or something completely new.
I thought noko announced he was quitting a while ago and going to whatever that new valve game is

It's easy to blame orgs and ea and I agree to a certain extent BUT looking at it from an orgs pov why would you want to stick around in a pro scene that has more roster changes than any other esports game out there the pro players for apex have waaaaay to much control over teams and will drop players within a heartbeat instead of working on their team chemistry

Getting ran down by 3 stack preds as soon as you get to diamond is not an enjoyable experience.
It’d be the same as diamond players being given gold/silver lobbies with a few plats sprinkled in the mix. A solo queue option with better matchmaking could fix it but they don’t give a 💩 so what’s the point in even talking about it anymore?
Anybody who purchases skins and heirlooms are to blame. They don’t need to cater to the majority of the fan base because a minority still spend money. I’ve seen so many people with the reaper’s path skin on pathy and players running around with the new heirloom lately. Why people still continue to feed in to this predatory monetisation is beyond me. It’s ruined the game as all EA see is money coming in, they don’t care if the player count drops.
There is a lot of people that really enjoy apex. The player count is low which sucks, and ea does need to help the game way more, but just because you don’t like playing apex doesn’t mean you should blame people for buying skins. I still really enjoy playing and I still buy skins sometimes. You can choose not to but getting mad at other people for doing it is just kinda wierd

EA don’t need to invest in improvements as it still brings in money for them regardless because people like you buy skins for it.

At this point apex needs to make a “pro only ranking system. Where we see the top teams compete for apex predator spots. Have it separate from normal ranked. That way we can watch the best teams compete everyday for the top spots and make prize money at the end of the season for the best pro team. No point in fixing ranked they’ve tried so much and it hasn’t worked. So make a pro league ranked season and see how the community enjoys it also see how the players like it
I’m personally very bored I miss when teams would stay together for years every time I watch algs everybody’s on different teams always changing orgs like what is that? How are you supposed to build chemistry if you’re changing all the time it’s just all really boring and that’s why I personally have stopped getting so involved in this game
Lock in teams to 2 year contracts. Then dump them after roster lock when they could've been free agents. Scumbag move by KCP
Honestly I deleted apex about a month ago and any time I have the urge to play it I just remember the issues that fill and choose not to. I am better off playing single players and watching comp over stressing about this game knowing it’s not gonna change

@@JustJuiceWrld the orgs don’t know how to run a business. They lose money annually and don’t know how to expand their brand at this point. It’s not an apex issue. Esports in general is not a good business model. They don’t have a stadium or ticket sales, they don’t have tv deals, their consumer base is almost entirely sub 30 yrs old meaning they have far less disposable income than other sports fanbases. It’s not apex job to save a failing business

I enjoy the game, but I also don't play pubs and only play ranked. People that only play pubs will obviously hate the game, you are sweating like it's ranked, but for nothing lmao. I've only been playing since s16, but I found that I started to enjoy the game more when I only focused on ranked. I'm on console and only have to deal with teamers though, PC players have it bad. Bottom line, don't play what you don't enjoy, it's simple. A video game should not be negative on your mental.
Ranked is the best! Until you’re in diamond+ then you run in to tons of cheaters using walls, sometimes aimbot and soft aimbot. Plat and below is an amazing experience it’s just unfortunate EA is horrible at dealing with cheaters

The toxicity of this community has nothing to do with the game not changing and yall know it. This community has definitely not been the most positive community in all of twitch. Toxicity has pervaded the game since the beginning. None of those creators deserve the treatment but there’s no way they never noticed how toxic people were in the community until now. Must be nice to live with the mentality ignorance is bliss until it involves you personally and all of a sudden it’s not so blissful anymore.
