Hey Burn, Thanks for watching and for the great feedback. We are so happy to hear you are enjoying BBB Adventures. We have lots more adventures planned and lots more to share. Thanks again. Enjoy the Ride
Hey Kelly, Thanks for waiting and for your patience. We have Day 1 all ready for this Saturday's release and are feverishly working on the other episodes, which are very different than what we've done before so are hoping we can get them done in time so your continued patience is appreciated. Thanks for watching. Enjoy the Ride
Heat? What heat? lol...Heat and hills was the theme but so worth it. Oh and crazy storm cell in Coralville too.... So glad I did the event. Thanks team BBB. Happy I got to pet Disco. I think he is your secret weapon to new subscribers :) GHS
Hey Frank, Yeah...heat was the key word for RAGBRAI L. It was hot as L. Glad you enjoyed your week. It was so great to see you face to face. We missed the storm in Coralville...we'll cover that in an upcoming episode. Hope you'll be doing it again in 2024 so we can get a chance to ride together and have a few beers and tell goat head stories. Disco is absolutely a secret weapon, but don't tell anyone. Thanks for watching and for all your support. Enjoy the Ride GHS
Hey David, Thanks for finding us at Expo, it was great to see you. Hope you enjoyed the week in the corn. Our Day 1 episode is all queued up for Saturday morning. Thanks for watching. Enjoy the Ride
Hey Anna, That video of how RAGBRAI history is really good and we're glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching and for the comment. And...Disco says "hi" back! Thanks for watching. Enjoy the Ride
So Great to meet up with you guys. Lovely when you meet a couple you have followed on You Tube for a year and they turn out to be exactly as you expected. Very genuine and love your video guys. Never disappoint
Hey Ian, It was a pleasure to get to meet you face to face at Pork Belly camp. Hopefully the heat and long days didn't detract too much from our RAGBAI experience and we hope you'll make the long trip again in the future to ride again. We'd love to spend more time with you. Thanks for your support and kind words. Enjoy the Ride
When do you want me to pick up the Ghia!? Ha! So good to visit with you guys! Remember, if you’re ever in the Northwest Arkansas area, give us a shout. We can put together a mini-Apollo mission.
Hey Gabriel, Oh...she's ready to be picked up anytime and I'm ready to see her NOT in Frank's Place. Hurry. :) We are so glad we got to meet as well and would love to ride a mini-Apollo Mission in Arkansas. Let's keep talking about it and when we get Byrdie done and are living mobile, I'm sure we'll find ourselves in your neck of the woods. Thanks for watching. Enjoy the Ride
Hey Greer, Thanks for watching and thanks for hanging out with us. We are sorry our situation didn't allow our paths to cross more often in Iowa and hopefully you'll do it again so we can find more time to ride together on RAGBRAI 2024. Enjoy the Ride
Howdy! The recumbent tandem is a great piece of engineering and super well built. However, it's pretty heavy so hills were a challenge (stay tuned for this week's episode). It would have been better if I'd had a chance to train on it before RAGBRAI but we were so grateful that Lance and Barb brought it from NY for us. My shoulder is 90%+ and I'm riding a bike again. I'll start physical therapy to get full range of motion in a few weeks but expect a full recovery. Thanks for watching and for the support. Enjoy the Ride
Wepaaaaa you guys are wonderful good work im glad that you shoulder is way better by today God bless and like you guys said enjoy the ride amd wear a helmet
Thanks Rene, It was so great seeing you in Iowa. We were sorry we didn't get a chance to hang out more, but there is always next year! Take care. Thanks for watching. Enjoy the Ride
Ryan!!! Thanks for watching and for the comment. I got that fedora from a friend of mine in Louisiana at a Mardi Gras...WAIT...WAIT...that was you!! Can't wait for Mardi Gras 2024. Great seeing you guys in Iowa. Enjoy the Ride
Hey Bill, We hear you...every year, except last year when we were on The Apollo Mission, we suffered from RAGBRAI withdrawal. This year was a bit different since we couldn't participate "normally" and are already excited about RAGBRAI 2024. We've been through and around Davenport several times over the years participating in RAGBRAI and have always really enjoyed the area. Hope to see you in Iowa next year. Thanks for watching and for the support. Enjoy the Ride
Hey You Guys!!! Thank you so much for watching. That RAGBRAI history video is really good and explains well how it all got started. It was so fun seeing you guys this and it's unfortunate we had to leave early. We will be back in full force for RAGBRAI 2024 and hope you guys will be there again (with the tentmahal). Enjoy the Ride
We definitely need to watch that documentary. Great seeing you as well! Our Ragbrai didn’t end great this year and we will also be back full force 2024!
Hi.. Enjoyed the video on RAGBRAI 50. Disco is so adorable. I am so glad you brought him along. I am glad you both recovered from your injuries so that you can do the ride. I keep re-watching your RAGBRAI videos so I can be prepared when I do it next year. You both are an inspiration especially when you rode cross country. Keep the videos coming.😊
Hey Phyllis, Thanks so much for watching and for the comment. We try to take Disco wherever we go and continue to train him to the be an adventure dog so he can happily participate in all our future bike adventures, of which we have many planned. We will keep posting episodes of those adventures so thanks for following along. We are happy to hear our videos are helping you prepare for RAGBRAI 2024 and if there are specific questions you have as your journey continues, please don't hesitate to reach out. Thanks again for watching. Enjoy the Ride
Bryan you are hilarious. Your sense of humor is unmatched. What really got me was old-fashioned as I'm sitting here enjoying an old-fashioned. I watched the entire Rag video and it looked tough with the heat Well done sir.. I'm so looking forward to camping the petticoat campground and riding the pine Creek trail Oct 20th. Thanks to you. Ride on my friend. We're glamping in the tents if you would like to join us for the weekend ride and several Old Fashions.
Hey Scott, I've read this comment several times and believe you intended this for a different video, but we are happy you are a BBB Adventures viewer. Enjoy the Ride
Hey Craig, Totally agree, Rene looked great this year. He's obviously been riding that 600 Duzer gave him. We missed you this year and hope you are enjoying Florida. Hopefully you'll be able to find your way to RAGBAI 2024. Thanks for watching. Enjoy the Ride
@@BBB_Adventures I vicariously rode REGBRAI through social media this year. LOL It was pretty hot, but it's hot here in FLA. It's the heat AND the humidity. Heat index above 100 degrees almost every day. So, I ride in the morning. Fort Myers Brewing is about a 12-mile ride. It's a great destination! I'm really looking into taking Amtrak to RAGBRAI next year. We will see!
It's wonderful that you were able to make the L anniversary this year especially with the bike accident and the shoulder surgery. I'm excited for the rest of the videos to be released.
Hey Sydney, Thanks for watching and for the kind words. Yes, we are very fortunate and grateful to our viewers (Lance and Barb) that were instrumental in enabling us to participate at any level in RAGBRAI. Stayed for for this week's episode when we cover Day 1. Thanks again for watching. Enjoy the Ride
Another great video. So nice to see Rene, he looks great! Amazing how many folks your videos touch! Disco is such a sweetie! My dog (a Shih Tzu) would be barking at every noise in the tent at night. How did MB decide which bike to bring, thought she might ride her Apollo? It was great catching up at the Expo. You certainly were correct about heat getting you (although 2021 was a hot one too) the bad thunderstorm Friday night was a close second to the heat. Looking forward to your next video! Stay safe!
Hi Steve, Great to hear from you. Yes, Rene does look great and we were so happy he came and found us at camp. We totally agree Disco is a sweetie and we were so happy with how well he did at camp and sleeping in the tent. On a normal day he sleeps a lot and he didn't get much rest on RAGBRAI days so by bed time, he was exhausted and went right to sleep. Mb decided to bring he Giant road bike because it's the lightest and fastest bike she owns and given all that happened in our lives prior to RAGBRAI, we didn't train much. We are so happy we got to see you and are sorry we didn't get to spend more time hanging out and riding with you. We hope you are planning on riding RAGBRAI next year when our lives are hopefully more "normal" and we can spend more time riding. As always, we really appreciate your support and the interactions. Enjoy the Ride
How prophetic, “…your biggest killer is going to be the heat”. 😢 So sorry I missed you guys…it’s been weeks since the end of the adventure and I’m still shaking my head at how insane things got in what amounts to a “few seconds” before our launch from Louisiana. I’m not sure how it will play out but I know the end of one journey is just the beginning if another, and I hope I can catch up with you on the next one. ❤
Howdy, Franklin has lots of talents...following lines....changing lanes....consuming electricity, he's quite the amazing car. :) Thanks for watching. Enjoy the Ride
Hey Matt, We are sorry we missed you as well. Things were a bit crazier than usual this year with all the additional participants, combined with our unusual plan for how we could participate. Hopefully we can connect at RAGBRAI 2024. Thanks for watching and for the support. Enjoy the Ride
I had so looked forward to meeting y’all at Ragbrai but circumstances kept me from it this year. I am so glad you made it despite your accident and now I can enjoy watching your Ragbrai videos.
Hey Angela, Thanks for the comment. We would have enjoyed meeting you as well and sorry to hear circumstances kept you away from RAGBRAI. We did the best we could given our own circumstances and thanks to the generosity of our viewers. Maybe we can connect at RAGBRAI 2024. Thanks for watching. Enjoy the Ride
I didnt realize it ended in Davenport this year. Thats my home town, I miss the Quad Cities so much. I do want to travel back home some time to complete the Ragbrai.
Hey Cullen, We've been in the Davenport area several times over the years for RAGBRAI and have always enjoyed it. I totally agree with your plan to travel back to Iowa for RAGBRAI. Why not 2024? Hope to see you there. Thanks for watching. Enjoy the Ride
Re: Frank, good to hear about the edit. He served his time, but the 14 year old victim will never serve hers. He was also removed from the RAGBRAI LI facebook page after I alerted the administrator of his background. Thanks
You must be thatguyFrank! Disco is a toy poodle and is about 4 pounds. We call him 4 pounds of fury but in reality, he's nothing but love and sweetness. Thanks for watching. Enjoy the Ride
Hey Ron, Well...if they are mad at us, they are probably mad at a lot of folks with laptops, cell phones and any other device with a lithium-ion battery. Although I'm not sure what difference the level of charge makes. :) Thanks for watching. Enjoy the Ride
