I like and appreciate your videos. Your sled is awesome and I like your bench. I think it is very important to talk about your accomplishments. It is important that people listen and take an interest and learn at the same time. Positive thinking is a prerequisite. I live by a motto: Live is not about me, it is about you because without you I can not be me and without me you can not be you. Best wishes, Dirk. Keep sharing your talents and accomplishment!
Thank You for your response. I have not stopped thinking about your sled and a lot happened since a saw your video. My largest concern is not to develop bad and/or unsafe habits on the table saw. As a result, it is my opinion that your sled opens a lot of doors and I look at it as a great invention. I am thinking to make some additions for the use of jigs with the sled. A couple of additions and your mind gets going. The router table was until recently a major concern from a safety perspective. There is a lot of stuff on the market but I made an amazing discovery: I found a web site on "RUclips" called HoltzWerken. It is in German but their router table (Fraesertisch) is incredible, especially from a safety and functional point of view. You must check it out !
Hi again, Dirk! Thanks for the additional thoughts. I finally had a chance to check out that youtube channel you recommended. They are really amazing! I wish I could understand what they are saying, but even just watching what they are doing and making is interesting enough to keep my attention. Enjoy and keep dreaming big…
Nice work. Nice video. I work in film as a profession and I have a tip. You may notice you have slow rolling horizontal bars of light and dark on your background. That is most likely caused by LED lighting that is not in sync with you camera. I don't know what camera you use but you may be able to adjust the shutter speed by a small degree to sync up with your lighting and make it disappear or at least minimize it.
That’s a good tip, Jeremy. I’m no expert with filming, but I will try your suggestions. The other two things that may be contributing are the limited light in the room while I was filming and the fact that I had a ceiling fan spinning nearby.
