I was used to a wheeled blower where I'd have to lift up on the handle bars to stop the wheels from slipping. Took an hour to learn and remember with these tracks, when slipping I need to simply put pressure DOWN on the handle bars instead of lifting. Love this for maneuverability. Can't wait to see if it handles as much as my 30 year old 10-28 Ariens.

I got the 2021 model of this machine. I like running it in the wheel mode because of a busted spine it makes this one of the easiest machines to use and normally I would be in such a great amount of pain after using other machines, this one is well worth it if you have back problems. I didn't know it had 3 track modes.. When I put the tracks down its a bit too hard to turn so I just leave it up. Also, the track down thing kept getting stuck for some reason. I only used the machine 5 times. The drive and auger cables also keep coming off for some reason. Its simple enough to screw them back in but I don't know why it keeps doing that..I also would mention that torque in the drive system is ok but my last machine, a husqavarna out performed this ariens when it came to power to the wheels. That husq was a tank and had so much power driving the wheels its really the only thing I am not liking about the ariens for the price point I would have expected much better power to the tracks without having to put the tracks down all the way. It could very well just be a defective friction disc but its not something I expected to have to change out after 5 uses because it came like this from the factory.. Same with the cable setup that keeps coming off.. IT should have been done right from the factory or at least at the store who sold it to me.. not the store in this video either.. Im in sault ste marie ontario. I think its the jam nuts that have to be secured better to stop the cables from coming undone.. Ill have to check it tomorrow. If you guys know of any other things I should tighten up let me know because all the store said was they would tighten everything up but they didn't..

LCT is what remains of Tecumseh and is an American company that manufactures in China. Loncin, used by some other snowblower brands, is a Chinese company.
